I'm waiting outside my friend Amethyst's house, she takes forever to get ready for school. Not to mention that it's colder than a freaking meat locker out here, it's hard to believe that it's February. It's not warm and sunny like in most places, nope it looks kinda pretty out here with our Oak and Cherry Blossom trees stretching out their branches and letting their leaves get their normal color back. Amethyst finally comes out of her house and says "I'm sorry if I took long." "It's fine, I was only waiting for about 45 minutes." I said sarcastically. "Haha very funny." She said as she pulled her bright pink phone out of her back pocket and turned the sound off, then I reached for my black and teal striped phone and turned it off. "Lets go!" Amethyst said smiling enthusiasticly. I nodded, and we started to walk. It was silent at first but then I broke it when I remembered where we were heading. "Ughhh, I hate Mondays and school." It's another way for us to get teased, controlled, stressed, and die from boredom."I hate how things work," I say with a long groan afterwards. "Now what's the reason today?" She said sarcastically. "Come on Ivy, your always so negative about everything. So what is it?" I hesitate "I just hate having to wake up at 6 and stay in that hell hole for seven hours." I say flatly.Amethyst looks at me suspiciously. "OK then I'm believing you." She checks her horrible sparkly pink cell phone and says. Oh how I hate that phone, its so bright and sparkly it hurts my eyes just looking at it. I start glaring at it."Come on Ivy we'll be late. And I see you glaring at my baby." She presses the phone against her face and stuck out her tongue. I couldn't help but giggle and we started walking again.
We arrived at school and walked to our lockers to grab our books, but instead I found my locker painted black with white letters that spelled out the word "Freak". I walked up to it opened my locker, grabbed my books and started down the hall way with Amethyst. But then we heard some of the stupid jocks laughing and pointing at me. My appearance is very different from Amethyst's. Amethyst Plendra she has a beautiful name and an even prettier appearence. She has beautiful long corkscrew curls with her natural strawberry blonde hair with beautiful fair tan skin, piercing green eyes and an almost plastic Barbie smile. And me Ivy Montgomery I have long dark brown perfectly straight hair with my pale complexion, bright blue eyes and light freckles across my nose and cheeks that makes it look like someone grabbed a paintbrush and flicked some tan paint on my face. I look like a Raggedy Anne next to a Malibu Barbie. But when Amethyst shot the guys a look they almost immediately shut up. That's why I love her, she's pretty and she can be meaner than a cat that got thrown in a pool. And me I look like I'll kill someone if you just look my way, but I won't I actually like being around people but people are scared of me I guess. "Come on let's head to math class we don't want Mrs.Harrison to give us detentions, again." I say with a long groan. "He he you mean you don't want another detention. You're the only one in class who gets them." Amethyst said while giggling up a storm. "Well its not my fault that James and Henry keep touching my hair." I say trying to hold back giggles. "Oh yeah it's not your fault that they love you!" She said while making a kissy face and leans toward me making kissing noises. "Oh my god Amethyst please stop!" I say while laughing and blushing slightly. We walked into the classroom and realized that we were about 15 minutes early, and that we were the only ones in there besides some boys goofing off in the back of the class. We get to our seats near the window and I fix my black hoodie and blue tank top and push my hair behind my ear then turn around to face Amethyst. "So are you ready for Single Remberence Day?" I asked while resting my head on my hand looking at Amethysts bright green eyes. "Ugh don't even remind me!" She said while scrunching her curls in between her fingers. Then the bell rang I turned back around and faced the window looking at the clouds and birds in the sky. Mrs.Harrison walked in and I noticed a figure in the doorway. Mrs.Harrison soon said as the tired teens got back to their seats and got their stuff out "I am very happy to announce that we have a new student today!" All the kids either groaned or said "Yay!" quite sarcastically. "Please come in." Mrs.Harrison said. When the new kid walked in the room his long black hair mid neck length hair kept getting in front of his light green eyes as he stopped in front of the board next to Mrs.Harrison with his black backpack wrinkled his crimson red T-shirt. My eyes widened a bit because he looked so familiar. Soon Mrs.Harrison said "Why don't you introduce yourself?" The boy spoke in a deep voice "My name is Drake, Drake Morrison." When he turned to the class I saw that he had one blue eye and one green. "So choose where you want to sit, Drake." Mrs.Harrison said a little too cheerfully. Drake just stood there not knowing where to go, so Mrs.Harrison chose for him. "Why don't you go sit next to Ivy? Ivy raise your hand please." I raised my hand but I fixed my gaze on my desk. When I looked up he was still standing in the front his eyes wide and asked, "Ivy Montgomery?"
How the hell does he know my name?!?Sorry if this sucks I'm not a good writer and this is my first time writing on here so I'm still getting used to it. So yeah please enjoy.
