Later that day just as everyone in the dorms were preparing to sleep, Midoriya was wide awake.

He was thinking about the call he got earlier. He was still conflicted on whether he should keep the call a secret, tell someone, tell sensei, or just tell sensei after he receives a follow up call.

While thinking about the call, his phone rings.

He jumps up startled. He glances at his phone wondering if maybe he got the call back or if the caller realized it was the wrong number. Looking closely he realizes the caller ID is Random Guy.

At first he was confused, until he realized, Random Guy!

He picks up the phone, "Hello,"

The voice he hears is exactly as he remembers. "Hey Kurogiri. What's going on?"

Midoriya almost passes out. Now he has to pretend to be someone else?! He shakes his head, no. He has to do this, finish what he started. "Nothing much man. What's going on with you?"

"Listen. I got us on conference call with Mr. Compress and Toga."

Midoriya flinches, like he's backing down from Mr. Compress and Toga. Now he has access to more information though. They might say something worth reporting.

"Hey ladies! Welcome to the call." More like welcome to the show, Midoriya is in near tears wondering if he might get caught now.

Toga is the one to start the conversation. "Hey Kurogiri, what time is it where you are?"

Midoriya glances at the time, they would be in the same time zone. "Eight-thirty."

"Really? What's the weather like?" She asks.

He starts to sweat bullets. "Weather's nice, weather is nice."

She responds, "Really? This doesn't sound like Kurogiri."

His breath hitches. No, he can't reveal himself now. Even if they figure him out, they don't know who he really is. "Oh yeah? Who's it sound like?"

The guy who both times chirps in, "SOUNDS LIKE SHIGARAKI! SOUNDS LIKE SHIGARAKI." Like he's gonna break this case wide open.

Midoriya sighs, maybe he should stop. He can't really keep this up for long even if he wanted. Pretending to be a villain or even just someone feels wrong to him. Though maybe he shouldn't reveal his identity either, so maybe a white lie could work.

He nods to himself, "Guys, this isn't Kurogiri and this isn't Shigaraki."

Toga asks, "Who is this?"

Midoriya prepares himself, "I'm just some dude who had nothing better to do than to mess with you guys." He gave himself a mental pat on his back.

She started yelling, "We have no money!"

"Oh, I know," He responded back now calm.

"You think this is a joke?!"

"Ah, a little bit."

"Let me ask you something-"

He interrupted her without thinking, "No let me ask you something!"

She shouts, "What?!"

Calmly he asks, "Where we at with the budget?" He hangs up immediately.

He squeals quietly, remembering that it's night time. He hurriedly blocks the number hoping they don't try and contact him again and lays down breathing quickly. His life may have flashed by his eyes and he may have gained names and the information of the league having no money, but other than that the call was just stressful.

In no way was it worth it, he decided. But if maybe they meet at some point he might just joke and ask them about the budget. He'll have a good laugh if they don't immediately kill him. He hopes this doesn't affect him later on.

The summer camp class 1A attended ended up being attacked by villains. Currently Shigaraki is giving a speech.

Midoriya and some of his friends are standing defensively ready to fight. In the middle of Shigaraki's speech, Midoriya suddenly remembered about the call.

He bit his lip in thought. Todoroki noticing tries to reassure him, "Don't worry, we can beat them Midoriya."

Midoriya snaps out of his thoughts and looks at Todoroki, making up his mind he smiles at him. He looks towards the League of Villains and inhales.

He screams over Shigaraki, "But where we at with the budget?!"

Shigaraki pauses his speech, "What?" Then gets his head pushed down from behind by Dabi.

He screams, "YOU!!!!!!"

Pushing Shigaraki out of the way, Dabi runs at Midoriya and Midoriya books it. Smiling as he runs he decided then and there, guess I'll pick up every call even if it's an unknown number.
