Kaci's POV:
Jack and Kaci stood there for 2 minutes just not saying anything to eachother.
Of course it had to be jack here of all people. I better break the silence.
"Err funny seeing you here." I fake laughed
"I mean I am part of the England squad you know." He said back looking down at his phone

" Yeah but you know, early." I said back knowing this was gonna be a slow conversation
"Ohhh right. So you think I'm always late and unreliable. That's it ! Makes sense. I'm sure you wouldn't have those problems with Brad." He said rolling his eyes at me

I'm so confused why he is so bothered about it
"Huh ? I'm so confused why your being like this. I barely know you, yet your so annoyed over me having friends." I said
He looked up at me not saying anything for a minute
"It's not like that." He finally said breaking the silence

"Then what's it like Jack, cause i really don't understand. You've known me for what 2 or 3 days and your acting like my dad." I said
"You know what forget it." He replied
He's really trying my patience

"Jack im not just gonna forget it. I don't know who you think you -." I started
"Kace have you done the chairs yet." I heard my dad shout from his office
"Errrr nearly." I said quickly

"So, do you need help ?" Jack said
"Yeah, make yourself useful but this conversation isn't done." I said firmly
"Alright Kace." He half smiled at me
"Kaci. And you can wipe that smirk off your face cause I don't know who you think you are." I snapped at him
"Keep your hair on I get the message. Anyways these chairs won't lay themselves out will they." He said

So the 2 began laying out the chairs in silence
"What's your favourite colour." Jack randomly asked
"pink." I replied
"Oooo pink to make the boys wink." He said winking
"What's your favourite food." He carried on
"Chocolate. " I said
"Ooo sweet like you." He replied
"What's your favourite drink." He asked

"Would you bloody stop with all these stupid questions." I snapped at him
"Alright I'm just tryna have a conversation." He said half laughing
"Well don't bother because your voice is getting on my nerves." I said

"no te gusta el acento brummie" He said
"Huh?" I rolled my eyes at him
"I take it you don't like the Spanish either." He continued smiling
"Do you know what, never mind the accent, I just don't like you." I sarcastically smiled at him
"Ah shame, that really hurt me in the heart you know." He answered back sarcastically whilst laying the last chair down

"We've finished so I'm going, I don't want to hear anymore of your nonsense." I told him
"Bonjour." He said
"I speak french too." He continued
"Well clearly not very well because if you did you would know that means hi." I half laughed and walked off

He's so annoying but I don't know. He's just got something about him that makes him so likeable. But I'm not gonna be nice to him. If he thinks cracking a few jokes is gonna make me forget about how rude he's been then he can think again.

Jacks POV:
Yeah can't lie her hanging out with all the islanders did lowkey piss me off but when I start talking to her something about her is just so likeable. I can't even be annoyed. And I guess she is right. I might not think it's a good idea to hang out with clout chasers but it's not really my business.

The boy waited in the hall for about 5 more minutes until his teammates began pouring in.

"Jacky Jacky grealo." I heard Saka shout
"Early for once eh?" Hendo said
Both boys burst out laughing
"Alright very funny but anyways new kits today." I said

"And staff." Mingsy added
"Better be some fit girls." Sanch said
"Yessss." Mason added
"I'll get her first." Chilly said
"Erm I will." Jude said laughing

"Boys never mind the girls , head in the game." Harry said
"Yes Hazza." A few of them said

So the boys put their stuff down and sat down on the chairs.

"Morning lads." Gareth started off with
A few mumbled mornings came from the squad
"So this is the proper start to the Euros finally, you've all trained so hard and it's starting on Sunday I'm proud of you guys already and I'm ready for you to all to smash it." He said
"So I'm sure you are all wanting your fresh kits, but let's just introduce the team for the Euros." Gareth said

He introduced what we all thought was all of the team
"Why the fuck is there only 6 girls and they're all Middle Aged or ugly." Foden whispered
"I know right , we really thought we'd be winning in life." Sancho quietly laughed

"So we've actually got one more member." Gareth said
"Lol I wouldn't be surprised if Bleu walks out." Mase said
"What was that." Gareth said catching the end of Mases sentence

"Err I was just predicting that the other staff member might be Bleu." Mase said
"Very good guess, Mase, very good guess." Gareth said
"So I'm right?" Mase questioned

"No. So close but so far." Kaci walked into the room and said
"Oh my god Kaceeee." Deccers shouted
"Ayeeeee." Sancho added
"Ohhhh so that's what the special announcement was about on your Instagram." Mase said
"Mhm." Kaci smiled
"Bet you guys didn't expect that." She continued
"Never." Jude replied

"Well I guess we were wrong about no fit people."Foden laughed
"I had my fingers crossed but I didn't think we'd get that lucky." Mings said
I rolled my eyes.
These boys are really obsessed.

I felt chilly poke me.
"Jealous much ?" He whispered
"How ." I said to him
"Well you rolled your eyes." He said
"Something In my eye." I said

"Sureeee. Anyways you'll get to spend a month with her." Chilly continued
"Aha as if she'd want to do that. I'm sure she'll be keeping her distance." I replied
"Why's that." He asked
"She started on me earlier about my comment on Aaron and Brad but it is what it is." I answered

"Well yeah that was a bit much you'd only known the poor girl 2 days to be that jealous . It wasn't that deep though she'll get over it. Girls always sulk about for a few days and soon get over it." Chilly said
"Ugh it's not even about being jealous I don't know why everyone thinks that I just think love islanders are clout chasing nobody's." I slightly snapped at him unintentionally

"Alright geez calm down. That's not even the point. You should still shoot your shot whilst you can." He said
"Number 1 she hates me anyways Number 2 I'm not even into her." I said
"Number 1, you're lying Number 2 you're lying." He said

"Alright let's make a deal, you make a move, if you get her to fall in love with you by the end of the Euros I pay for the lads holiday all inclusive after the Euros." He suggested
"And if she doesn't ?" I asked
"Free cocktails for me in the sun because the holiday is on you." He said
He stuck out his hand
I took it
"Done deal." He smirked

I said I'd never bet on a girl. And it's not really like that. It's more just a deal . But it still feels very wrong. I'm not like that at all. What have I just gotten myself into
