The human dropped the lit-up match without notice. He was too concentrated on getting away from the unusually big husky.
As the man escaped, the fire started to spread out. Misfortunately, there happened to be a truck that had dripped gasoline near the ally where the man had dropped the lit-up match. As the fire spread, it started to get closer and closer to the gasoline until it went on the track. The fire climbed up until the scarlet flames hungrily lapped at the truck.
The truck exploded into the air and flames went flying everywhere. The explosion woke the firefighters who immediately went to their firefighter's truck and drove to the fire.
Meanwhile, one of the bits of fire that went flying landed on a building that had a lot of wood. That building was farthest from the firefighters, but not too far. Misfortunately, there were people who lived there. The families there quickly ran out of the building. Everyone managed to evacuate by the time the firefighters arrived. Or at least that's what everyone thought was what happened . . .

Author's Note:
Thanks for reading my first chapter! Sorry that it was really short, but this one is kinda more of an intro/prologue rather than an actual chapter. There's more excitement in the next chapter(and it's also longer), and in chapter three, it's even more exciting(longest chapter, including chapters one, two, and three). I really hope that you all enjoy it!
Please note that this is book one of a series called, "Luminous Elements". This is chapter 1.
