A long while had passed since Regnard had agreed to help him train. Blaze was a lot more advanced than he was before. The best part was that he hadn't needed to use his fire, except in the beginning, but even then he only used it to warm himself. Currently, Blaze could resist water a bit colder than normal room temperature without feeling any pain and could do it for about six to nine minutes. Meanwhile, he could resist water hotter than he could resist cold water. However, it could still burn him like any normal cat if it was too hot, only worse because it was also water.

Blaze purred. Currently, he was relaxing in the sun with Regnard by his side, who had grown quickly, and was a bit near to being considered an adult dog. Regnard was only inches taller than Blaze, which was a lot because Blaze was one of those cats that were quite huge.

"Why are you purring?" Regnard asked Blaze.

"Er . . . no reason." Blaze mewled quickly.

Blaze closed his eyes, relaxing as the sunlight hit his fur.

Blaze opened his eyes, to see Regnard fast asleep. Blaze walked away, and after he was a distance away, he stopped and looked around. Blaze didn't know where he had been trying to go and looked up at the sky before concentrating on what was in front of him, trying to remember what place he had been trying to go to.

Suddenly, he realized that there had been a few people staring at him. The crowd started to grow, and Blaze crouched down, unsure if they were staring at him because they'd seen him put out the fire.

Blaze gasped as he realized that all of the people had turned into one familiar face . . .

        "No!"

Blaze ran the opposite direction of the face, only to be faced with something even worse: A different familiar face, but one whom he . . .

Blaze gasped as he realize that he was trapped by the two familiar faces.

        "Blaze!"

        "How could you?"

Blaze yowled. Suddenly, his white paw went on fire uncontrollably. The familiar faces faded, and his flaming white paw dragged Blaze ahead. He heard screams as he passed people, and suddenly he realized that he was leaving a trail of fire behind, burning everyone and everything that he passed. Blaze gasped as he realized that he was heading towards two familiar faces. Two familiar faces that Blaze couldn't not bare burn . . .

Blaze gasped as he realized that one of the two familiar faces was Regnard.

"No!" Blaze exclaimed. He tried to control himself, but his paw headed straight for him and the other familiar face . . .

Blaze's eyes widened as he realized who the familiar face was.

        "NO!"

Blaze opened his eyes with a gasp. Blaze panted, his heart thumping loud like thunder to him. Blaze heaved a big sigh of relief when he realized that it had all just been a nightmare.

Blaze suddenly realized that Regnard was staring at him with a concerned face.

"Are you okay, Blaze?" he woofed.

        Blaze nodded, still shaken.

Blaze stood up and started to walk away.

"Where are you going, Blaze?" Regnard asked.

"To hunt," Blaze responded. It wasn't a lie, for Blaze was hungry, and now that he thought about it, he did want to go ahead and hunt. Although his original purpose had been to just walk away to clear his mind, he wouldn't mind hunting.
