The Dark Wolf leader lifted his chin expectedly as the Dark Wolf finally arrived. The Dark Wolf he'd summoned was the first Dark Wolf that Blaze and Regnard had met.
"Phantom", the Dark Wolf leader nodded to the Dark Wolf. "You have arrived."
"Yes, master. What did you want me for?" Phantom asked.
"Phantom, do you remember that cat that has a wolf friend?"
Phantom nodded.
"Well, right now I'm going to pay a visit to one of the cats, so, therefore, am too busy. I'd like for you, instead of me, to go to that cat and find out as much as you can about him, then report to me. However, this time I'd like for you to try to get him alone. If not, then attack the wolf and cat, and then try to separate them and get the cat to yourself. If you still can't, then try to tell him to follow you, alone. It might just work."
"Yes, master", Phantom said.
Phantom walked away from her leader's clearing and once she was out, she ran towards the forest where she'd found the cat and the wolf. Finally! Here's my chance to find out more about him! she thought.
Although Phantom had felt some strange automatic hatred for the cat, she'd always still felt something else. She wasn't sure what, but she felt almost as if she'd met him before. Maybe I've seen him before, Phantom thought, but it was while I was attacking someone else, so I didn't notice it. Or maybe I've seen someone who looks like him.
Whatever the case, Phantom had risked her life, not having told her leader about the cat's fire power. I hope that it was worth it.
Back in the clearing, three wolves finally arrive, one of them being the wolf that had a black scar, caused by Blaze.
"You've arrived, Vandal", the leader of the Dark Wolves said to the wolf with the black scar. "You know, I've been thinking . . . I've decided that you shall now be renamed to Scar. From now on, your name will be Scar."
The Dark Wolf seemed like he wanted to protest, but then he bowed down, although there was fury in his eyes, and it didn't seem like it was angled towards his leader . . .
"Now, all of you three, I have a mission for you", the Dark Wolf leader continued. "You know that cat with the wolf? Well, you are going to attack the wolf and teach him a lesson. What you will do is this . . ."
Scar growled as he led the other two Dark Wolves. It's not the wolf I want to attack, he thought. It's the cat. That mangy cat . . . he thought he could get away with giving me a permanent scar? Well, I'll show him who's the boss!
Scar looked at his companions. He knew that right now he'd have to attack the wolf and do as his leader told him to do . . . But when I get my claws on that cat . . . he'll regret ever deciding to have so much as meeting me!
Scar growled. He'd already automatically felt hatred towards the cat, or at least something about the cat. However, now his hatred, he knew, was directed directly towards the cat.
You'll see! You're going to regret ever having met a Dark Wolf! Especially one like me! With that, Scar ran towards where the wolf was, noting even looking back to see whether his companions were keeping up with him or not. I won't let you have the fun of the fact that my leader changed my name because of the scar you gave me!
Blaze sighed. He was bored. Right now, he and Regnard were laying down, back at home, trying to think of something fun that he could do. No idea was coming to him, though.
