you heard a knock coming from your door but you just ignore it. you just feel so empty from what happened earlier. everytime you would think about the kiss you shared with draken, a love excitement rushed over you making your heart flutter and butterflies filling inside your guts. you love the feeling but seeing draken's expression in your mind scares you.

it scares you because it could really affect your friendship and you can't lose him now that you're too attached to him. even if you romantically love him so bad, you still don't want to ruin the friendly relationship you built.

but why?

you already did so many things for him to the point that you spent most of your time thinking how you can make him smile yet he still don't get the hint of love you gave him.

"why can't he love me back?" an obvious question spilled from your mouth.

you love emma but you can't help but to still feel jealous about her. you've done enough deeds that could lessen draken's grief from his past lover. you just want to make him happy by just doing little things that can surely remind him of you.

you felt so selfish but that's what you emotions is conveying to you. it's not like you're making him forget about emma, you just want to make him happy because of you.

you who never left his side. you who always consider his blunt or harsh remarks whenever you did something stupid. you who always bring him food every single day before you head to university or when you want to hangout with him every weekends. you who loved him ever since the day he saved you from getting sexually assaulted at the train station. you who respected his relationship with your sister even if deep inside it hurts you the most. you who loves him just the way he is.

"i'm coming in, y/n. whether you like it or not." mikey insisted as you hid yourself inside of your blanket so he could not see your swollen eyes and puffy face.

mikey went inside of your room and flopped down on your bed next to you. the moment he saw draken hastily leaving your household, he knew something's up between the two of you. he had no idea that you're into draken until you decided to let yourself loose and never left draken's side. you wouldn't admit it to him but somehow he picked up your sudden care for draken. at first, he thought that maybe you're just being a good friend but as he observes you, there's something about your acts that makes him think that you're in-fact inlove with him. he just wanted to know when did this escalated and how.

"tell me about it." mikey said but you refused as you stayed silent.

you heard mikey let out a deep sigh, "i'm your brother and i just want to know why my sister is feeling a little blue today. did something happened between you and draken?"

you peaked over your covers and saw mikey already has his gaze on you, waiting for you to speak up. you sat up on your bed and hugged your knees.
