A maniac grin spread across her face as she slashed and gutted them, the blood spraying in an oddly beautiful arch around her. It was soothing, for her, to let her mind concentrate on one thing instead of letting it wander. The person in front of her shrieked with utter terror as he got a glimpse of her face, face streaked with horror and blood. They pleaded with her, the always have pleaded with her to spare them. To show the mercy. Foolish mortals, thinking she, she will show them even an ounce of emotion. Her hands shook with adrenaline as the last of his body parts were washed away with the currents. Satisfying. She smirked, turning and walking into the sparkling ocean.

NO..Not my baby please...no no no.." Her voice broked with every word she uttered, her throat raw from screaming. Her baby, her precious baby was held in her father grasp, held as far away from his body as possible. His little face was red from crying for his mother, tiny hands reaching towards her, wanting his mothers protection. She was terrified for her child. Her baby, her fragile baby was in her fathers grasp.
"He cannot live with you, Azelea, you are dangerous as it is, your offspring will be contaminated with your cruel nature." With that, he walked away, the anguished screams of his daughter, a mother ringing through the palace, haunting the ocean with its pain.
~•~She was supposed to be the most beautiful, the kindest and happiest of them all. She was supposed to grow up a happy and lucky child, smothered in the hearth of love. Her people were supposed to love and respect her. Instead, she grew up hated, scorned and beaten for something she had no power in. She was beautiful, but also deadly. They say she has no kindness, something such as her should not have any kindness. Happiness.. They ripped it away from her. She was a disgusting creature to her people. Respect was a far-fetched fairy tale for her. A bitter chuckle made its way out of her mouth as she watched her family having tea together, laughing and having fun. A Siren, born the the royal family of the meri people, the king's unnatural firstborn. She lures sailors from their ships, singing an irresistable song, and gifts them death. She's as merciless as an assassin, they say. A ruthless, mindless killer who deserves hell. They made up tales of her ruthlessness, her cruelty to children and adults alike. Her father ripped her precious away from her, because she would contaminate him with her cruelty. So she became just that. A ruthless, cruel assassin. A slow, sharp smirk made its way to her beautiful face as she watched her parents and siblings convulsing in the ground, thick purplish smoke.pouring out of their beings. Her smirk turned maniac as she watched them still, their chest stopping abruptly from its heaving. Noone harms her son and gets away with it. With the smile still present, she pocketed the vial of purple poison and strode away from the family of dead royals.

The kelps around them swished with the sea currents, the sunlight above them casting a greenish glow around her. The babe in her arms fussed softly, his big green eyes blinking wetly at her. Her midnight hair floated around them in soft waves, creating an ethereal aura around them. "Gahh" the babe shrieked and reached out a tiny hand as he saw a bold pufferfish swim towards them. The pufferfish was intelligent enough to avoid the pudgy grasp, instead bumping its head softly again the baby's shoulder. The shrieking laughter her child let out at that prompted her to let out a soft chuckle, delighted that her baby was so happy. Aiming a soft smile at her child, she resumed rocking him, the soothing motion slowly lulling the baby to sleep.
*A/N*
This is my absolutely first time publishing a story, and I'm really really sorry if there is any grammatical errors or problems in the plot.
I'm a big PJO fan, and I really wanted atleast one Siren in it (i've always secretly hoped Percy would turn out to be a Siren, but, oh well, we have fanfictions).
Quick question: If you are a PJO fan... Whose your favourite ship?Criticism is gladly welcome here!
Stay safe and healthy
And don't forget to have fun!
