The bright and beautiful garden stood as a stark contrast against the heartbroken sobs echoing into the evening air. The setting sun lit up the gigantic garden in an ethereal glow, its occupant being bathed in the evening light. But the beautiful scenery did nothing to lift the child's mood, his tiny fists curled into the lush green grass, pulling and ripping at it in his frustration. Tears poured out of his emerald eyes, sliding down his procelian cheeks and dropping into the grass. His body trembled with the power of his sobs, wails escaping between sharply drawn gasps.
" 'm good...not my fault" was chanted repeadly as the toddler struggled to cope with the memories that assaulted his young mind.
"A worthless freak!" *Smack*
"How dare you! You useless vermin!" *Crash*
"Cannot even complete your chores, you disgusting freak!" Kick
He unconsciously flinched at the memory of his uncle looming above him came to his mine, constantly kicking and smacking his tiny body, smacking him against the wall, chocking him..
He gave a full body flinch when arms wrapped around him, pulling him into a warm lap and embracing him tight into a solid chest.
"Shh, little one, papa's here baby, you are safe now, you are not there baby, calm down precious"
And then it was gone, the constricted feeling and phantom touch of his uncles meaty hand closing around his neck the mental pain of the abuse he suffered from the one who was supposed to be his family, the feeling of helplessness no one his age should feel, the yucky feeling of no one loving him....all gone. He was safe now, he had his papa with him and no one would hurt him here. He would always have these bad days, but papa would be there to make it better. The scares would always be there, the proof of his struggle and pain, the flashbacks and vile words would always be there in a part of his mind, but there are also plenty of happy and amazing memories with his papa to chase it away, to keep him safe, warm and happy.

This is about the sad fact that there are hundreds of children, teenagers and adults in this world suffering from mental and physical abuse. Just a reminder that you are not alone, you have lots of people who loves you and are willing to help you. Do not give up hope!
Stay safe and healthy
Have lots of fun
