We start the story with Ryu just relaxing after his morning training
Luck: hey Ryu wanna fight
Ryu: Normally I would say yes but I'm completely worn out
Magna: oh so your being a chicken I thought you wanted to be the strongest
Ryu: ok flame brain and spark plug let's do this
Luck: HAHAHA that's more like it
Lighting magic thunderbolt destruction!
Ryu: starting off with a bang then here we go
Dark magic: dark cloaked black blade
Slicing Lucks attack in half and nearly hitting him
Magna: flame magic: explosive fire ball
Ryu: Dark magic: Dark vanguard
He creates a shield of pure darkness blocking the attack
This goes on for a while and then
Yami: EVERYONE STOP BREAKING EVERYTHING
He says making a dent in the wall
Ryu sweatdrops but immediately stops
Yami: anyway the magic knight selection exam is coming SO FINRAL
Finral: Yes sir
Yami: take me to the capital
Ryu: hey I wanna come too I need to get away from these lunatics they are a bad influence
Magna: HEY! all I did was tease you
Ryu: and yet we still fight almost every day don't get me wrong I love fighting but I need a break
Yami: anyway sure kid you are the most trustable out of these well you know
Ryu thinking: I guess that's a compliment
Yami: alright let's go finral now
They go to the royal capital
Finral: Ok I'm gonna go and check out the babes
Ryu: I'm sure you will have just as much luck as you always do
Finral: really well than...HEY!
But before finral could respond ryu and Yami had a,ready left for the arena
They walk in and see a kid being chased around by birds
Run: wow that guy must be really low on magic
Yami: Huh
Asta runs into him as normal
Asta: phew guess they finally had enough sorry about that
Yami: you've got a death wish boy Hey Kid take care of him for me
Ryu had already ran away to where the black bulls captain sits to observe the competition
Ryu: phew man he is scary
Ryu: looks and sees Yami crushing Asta's head
Ryu: man he sure does get pissed when he need a dump although that kid is intriguing
Random guy: hey whose that guy watching us
Other random guy: He's Ryu that dark demon and yami's student it's said the posses the same magic he's supposed to be one of the strongest rookies and the highest ranked in the black bulls but just as destructive as the rest of them
Ryu hears that and thinks: huh that's a cool name also who's the creepy bug man that keeps laughing eh he's no-one important
Ryu gets bored of watching and decided to talk to a captain
Ryu: hey fuegoleon good to see you
Fuego: Ah Ryu so you came then it always good to see a rival
Ryu: same to you but don't forget about your little bro he's my rival as well
Fuego: ah yes Leo if memory serves you caused a lot of destruction that last time you two fought
Ryu: Yeah sorry about that got carried away
Fuego: in the past anyway why are you here
Ryu smirks: I wanted to check out the new examines
Fuego: ah yes me too
Let's time skip to when he's actually watching the exam
Ryu sees asta failing to ride a broom and destroy those walls
Ryu: hmm that guy he has no magic
Yami: what seriously
This gets Yami interested
Ryu: oh it seems he's fighting bug man
The sees sekke's magic
Finral: pretty impressive magic
Yami: I agree with ryu he looks like a bug
Asta destroys sekke
Ryu: WOW that was awesome he sliced right through that thing
Yami: no magical enhancement he's just that fast
Ryu: I want him on our squad
Yami: he's certainly interesting
It gets to the selection point
Yami is giving his speech to asta after jumping down
Ryu: heh this will be good
Ryu feels yami's aura: the kid isn't even flinching
Asta: I WILL BECOME THE WIZARD KING
Yami starts laughing: you know what kid I like you come join our crew
After asta comes back from the bathroom
Ryu: hey asta right
Asta: oh who are you
Ryu: my name is ryu sukihero and I have one question for you do you truly believe that you will become the wizard king
Asta: yes I will whatever it takes I don't want to be the wizard king I will be
Ryu: That's the right answer I've told you my name now it's time to tell you my goal
Asta: ooh do you want to become the wizard king
Ryu: don't interrupt me
Ryu glares at him
Ryu: My goal is too become the strongest warrior I don't need or want a flashy title all I want to be is the best the one that's on the front lines protecting people and fighting opponents stronger than I can even imagine that is what I will do
Asta: It seems we will get along then
Ryu: Asta and after seeing that display not backing down even though most people would I now have a second goal to make you the wizard king
Asta gasps
Ryu: There is no-one I know right now who is more deserving of the title except maybe a few
Asta: Thank you we will do this together
Ryu: yeah!
And that's a rap
The next chapter will be asta meeting the black bulls but for now this is all I can be bothered to write not saying this wasn't fun just have lots more ideas for later in the story
