Its finally over

The fight is over

Ryu and Asta both fall out of their transformation

Somewhere else two figures are taunting the devil

One looks like a devil while the other looks like a samurai but it definitely has devil characteristics

Bad devil: it can't be I won't have it

Asta's Devil: you've got a problem there comrade

Samurai: I think he does he's upset because a bunch of humans and elves kicked his ass

Bad devil: don't give me that who you two tell me

Both: hehe you don't need to know that

Asta's devil: it doesn't matter how strong you are

Samurai: you've lost this fight and now

Both: farewell

Ryu: (it's finally over thank you everyone)

But suddenly the eerie magic starts going crazy

Ryu: (crap I'm almost out of power)

The Light fades and everyone is enveloped

Ryu uses the last of his magic to activate mana skin to protect him

suddenly Noelle and the rest of the magic knights appear 

Turns out the guy that saved them was valtos of all people saying something about making amends for the wrong he's done

Asta and Rades argue

Suddenly Yami, Charlotte?,Hammy and uhh

Ryu: wait whose that with the traitor captain

Asta: he's a nobody he stole my grimoire ages ago but I kicked his ass

Ryu: oh alright

Asta: enough chit chat let's get going

And they all fly out

Ryu relaxes and let's himself fly

Ryu: (this is actually quite nice)

Nozel: it's not over there are still elves that are trying to destroy the kingdom

Noelle: there are so many how can we hope to overpower them all

Mereleona: I'll knock them out with one good punch

Ryu and Yami: (something tells me she actually could too)

Party: licht is here now there is a way, William is still resting inside me we can use his world tree magic to gather mana and life force from people all over too make that anemone we are going to need his grimoire

Valtos gives patry the grimoire

Asta uses his sword to remove patry's soul

And captain William vangence is back

He then uses his magic alongside licht and it removes all the elves souls from the human bodies

It also seems Raya, fana and vetto are sticking around

Suddenly

Rades activates his magic and somehow brings patry back

Rades: LICHT OR PATRY WHATEVER I WON'T JUST LET YOU FLOAT AWAY AND LIVE HAPPILY EVER AFTER NO WAY I WON'T FORGIVE FOR WHAT YOU DID THATS WJY I WANT YOU TO SPEND THE REST OF ETERNITY THINKING ABIUT ALL OF THE HUMANS YOU TRAMPLED ON INCLUDING ME

Asta: uhh hey that might come back to bite you later 

Rades: QUIET

Patry: Rades I feel like I should thank you since you have given me the chance to atone

Rades: shut your mouth I'll have your head if it's the last thing I do and until that day I want you to spend your life in constant fear

Rades and valtos leave

Ryu: (that was very weird even more than usual man how long has it been since I slept)

Vangence: please take me to see julius at once

Yami: of course

Ryu: huh

Asta: yeah..Ryu

Asta whispers something

And Ryu's eyes widen

But ryu finally so comes to exhaustion and falls unconscious

Later asta and ryu are being healed

Ryu is finished healing and won't stop staring at the girl who was with the first wizard king he finally stands up and points at he r

Ryu: YOU'RE NERO AREN'T YOU

Noelle: the bird? Wow you must be ever stupider than I thought to think th...

Nero: it's true

Asta gets really excited and says she's really cool

Nero explains everything about how she was once a human and how she was suddenly able to talk

Ryu: (gotta admit she's pretty cool and her magic is awesome she'd make a good black bull although Yami would use her as a bottle opener)

Nero grabs asta's cheek: now what makes you think you could ever hold a candle too his highness

Lemiel: well to me wizard king is nothing more than a simple phrase but thanks to you are your rival it's become clear to me that our ideals live on with this generation as well it also seems that the black haired swordsman may just surpass everyone but which one of you will take my place 

Asta: OOH THAT WILL BE ME SIR

Nero: your nothing compared to him asta

Lemiel chuckles but

He starts cracking

Lemiel: the time has come I don't have enough magic to hold this body together anymore

Ryu: (dammit well I guess it was inevitable but I can't help but feel sorry for him and Nero for that matter centuries apart yet back together for so little time it's not fair)

Nero: my prince

Lemiel: secre or Nero I suppose will you watch their futures play out watch them make the world better for my sake

Nero: I've always been well um I mean let me go with you please sir

Lemiel: I gave everything 500 years ago I should have died that day but then you helped me protect the future let me go I can't let you seal off your potential I think the path ahead is a bright one both for the magic knights and for the kingdom they'll fight to defend I even met my descendants I'm happy

Nero: so am I really, serving you for so long it was an honour

Lemiel: I was honoured to have you secre

thank you for everything

goodbye

And with that the first wizard king dies passing down the will to keep his kingdom safe to the magic knights

Ryu walks over to the crying Nero

And hugs her

Ryu: now why don't we all go back home it's been a really long day

And that's a rap

This chapter was fun to write and now finally we are getting near the timeskip where I can truly let Ryu wreck havoc

He could from being called a demon to being known as the one that slays devils
