Y/N POV:

It's been a few days since I started working at the Mystery Shack and I must say, it's been a great experience so far.

Even if my boss Stan is somewhat mysterious and reckless, he's not necessarily what I would call a 'bad boss '; his great nephews Mabel and Dipper are really nice to talk and hangout while working; Soos has been a really nice person to me too, always helping me a lot during work, helping me get used to the place and answering any questions I might have and Wendy, she has been like the only person I really get to talk during work, but not like talk about work stuff, but those trivial things we do and enjoy, unfortunately we never really got the chance to hangout again, like we did with her friends at the bowling alley.

Currently I'm working stocking shelves at the shop when I overhear Mabel whispering something to herself.

Mabel: "He's looking at it. He's looking at it!" I hear she whisper-screaming to herself.

I get curious over what she was talking about and look at the direction she was looking.

She was looking at a boy around her age, with brown hair and a yellow shirt unfolding a piece of paper.

He looks confused at the paper.

Mabel: "I rigged it."

I look confused at the girl.

Dipper: "Mabel, I know you're going through your 'boy crazy' phase but I think you're overdoing it with the crazy part."

Dipper's comments made me piece everything together. Now I see what's going on.

Y/N: "Trust me girl, don't sound desperate, boys hate girls who are desperate, except for the Simps, and trust me, they are not worth it."

Mabel: "What? Pfrrrrrr. C'mon you two, it's the first summer away from home. It's my big chance to have an 'Epic Summer Romance'."

Dipper: "Yeah, but you need to flirt with every guy you meet?"

Y/N: "Wait, for real? Tell me about those case, 'cause I think I don't remember them."

Dipper: "Well, let's see; there was the guy she said to call her the 'girl of your dreams...'"

Y/N: "I think I remember this one."

Dipper: "There was the turtle guy."

Y/N: "Ok, this one I didn't know."

Dipper: "And there was the Prince of Sales or something like that."

Y/N: "Oh, so this is why I saw a guy in medieval clothes running in the streets."

Mabel: "Knock all you want brother, but I got a good feeling about this summer. I wouldn't be surprised if the man of my dreams walked through that door right now."

As she says that, Stan emerges from the door, holding a few wooden signs and belching.

Stan: "Urgh. Not good. Ow."

Mabel cringes in response.

Me and Dipper laugh in response.

Y/N: "There's your Charming Prince, Cinderella. Are you gonna take it."

Mabel: "Yeah, no, better pass."

I chuckle in response.

Stan: "Alright, alright! Look alive people."

Y/N: "That's what I've been trying to do for a long time." I joke.

Stan glares at me for a few seconds before continuing.
