Y/N POV:

A few days after the 'soccer field incident' I heard from Dipper and Mabel a weird story from them, saying that they fought a group of gnomes pretending to be a teenager to try to marry Mabel.

At first, I thought it was just imagination, and I still think it is, 'cause at least I never saw nothing like that in here, and I lived here since I was born, but again I didn't use to leave the house much until I started working at the Mystery Shack; and also, something tells me that this story is somewhat too specific to be just a child's imagination. But I didn't get to see anything, so I can't prove anything, just think about the possibilities of whether it's true or not.

Currently I'm heading to the Shack for my shift.

The moment I reach the Shack, I see Soos hanging a banner at the entrance with the words 'WAX MUSEUM OF MYSTERY. GRAND RE-OPENING!'

Curious, I decided to ask Soos about it.

Y/N: "Hey Soos."

Soos: "Oh hey Y/N." He waves.

Y/N: "What's going on?"

Soos: "Well, I'm hanging this banner here."

Y/N: "Yeah, I can see it. I meant with the whole 'Wax Museum' thing."

Soos: "Oh yeah, I found a door behind the wallpaper inside the cabin full of wax statues. Stan said it was from the old wax museum that he used to host here in the Shack."

Y/N: "Right..."

I felt something was off. If the statues were abandoned, there should be a reason. The same thing for the decision of the re-opening.

I decided to shrug it off and enter the cabin.

The moment I enter the cabin, I see a really flashy-looking wax statue of Stan himself.

Y/N: "Well, at least I know why he decided to bring it back..."

Mabel: "Hey Y/N! So, did you like my work?" Mabel announces.

Y/N: "Wow. You made it?"

Mabel: "Yeah!" She replies, proud of her work.

Y/N: "Well...it's flashy, to say the least. And well, I can clearly see that it looks like Stan. But damn, I'm impressed someone in your age was able to create a wax figure to begin with."

Mabel: "Well, thank you."

Dipper: "She's an arts and crafts master. So, it's not that big of a deal."

Y/N: "Well, for someone who hasn't seen anything like that in real life, I say 'yes, it is impressive'."

Stan: "Well, looks like someone is excited for the Grand Re-Opening!" I hear a familiar raspy voice say.

Y/N: "Good morning Mr. Stan."

Stan: "Good morning kiddo. So, excited for the Big Event?"

Y/N: "Well, yeah, about that, I'm still confused. Soos said the statues were in an abandoned room behind the wallpaper, meaning it was probably abandoned. So, what exactly happened for the statues to be abandoned for that long?"

There are a few seconds of silence before Stan replies.

Stan: "Well, how about that, I give you 20$ if you help organize the event and we pretend this conversation never happened, ok?"
