Y/N POV:

After the Wax Museum fiasco's mess was cleaned, Stan dismissed us for the day, while he kept praising his wax figure. Like seriously, it's really good and all, but how narcissist is this guy?

Well, with that, I was currently heading home, when I spot a familiar redheaded sitting in a nearby bench.

I'm still feeling somewhat awkward after what happened between us at the ticket stand today, so I wasn't really sure in how to approach her, so I tried to pass by and root she didn't spot me.

So I try to act as casual as I could, and trying to avoid looking at her.

Unfortunately, she spots me.

Wendy: "Hey, Y/N."

Y/N: "Dammit..."

I try to compose myself before speaking.

Y/N: "H-hey Wendy." I reply.

Wendy: "'Sup man. Doing good?"

Y/N: "W-well, yeah. But why you asking? We just saw each other today?"

Wendy: "No, it was nothing. Just asking."

There's a moment of silence.

Y/N: "So..."

Wendy: "Your deal of going to your house is still open?"

Y/N: "O-oh yeah. Right. Sure, why not? I think my brother is out for the night, so he won't annoy us; you can come."

Wendy: "Nice."

We both make our way to my house, but it feels different than when we met.

I can feel the atmosphere was different.

An awkward silence between us. Even if I tried to break the ice, nothing came out of my mouth. And my heart was beating like crazy.

I swear I could power up a house with how fast it was beating.

Wendy: "So, I don't think I asked you the last time, but do you live in a graveyard?"

Y/N: "Well, yeah. My parents are the owners of the Funeral Home, so we live really close to the cemetery."

Wendy: "'Valentino's Funerary Home' huh?"

Y/N: "Yeah, that's our surname, so..."

Wendy: "Makes sense."

Y/N: "So, let's get in."

I open the door and let Wendy in first.

Y/N: "S-so, m-make yourself home." I replied, feeling really tense.

Wendy: "You seem tense, what's the matter?"

Y/N: "I-it's just that...it's been so long since I actually invited someone to come over, so..."

Wendy: "Oh yeah...I remember. You said you didn't have many friends...I'm sorry."

Y/N: "No, it's fine. It's not like it's your fault."

Wendy: "But still..."

Y/N: "No, it's fine, really. So, you wanna eat or drink something. I got a few soda packs if you want."

Wendy: "I'll take it then."

I take a soda can out of the fridge and toss it to Wendy.

She catches it, cracks it open and takes a sip.
