Kimberly POV

Today is Thursday and MeMe and I were on our way to school. August was taking us and it was just a cool silence in the car. MeMe texting her dad and me with one headphone in listening to my music. Ever since the skating party Jalen and I have been texting constantly; but we ain't nothing serious.

We pulled up into the crowded drop off lane and got out when August pulled up to this little spot that wasn't crowed so that we could get out. We said our goodbyes and headed towards the table we usually sat at waiting for the school doors to open.

'So.. I've been talking to Marcus right'. MeMe said looking at me, and I nodded motioning her to keep talking. 'And he asked me out, and I was just let me think about. I don't want him to think I don't like him because I do, I just don't think I'm truly ready for a relationship'. She said taking a breath.

'MeMe that's fully understandable, Jalen and I aren't a 'couple' as you call it, but we still you know..' I said crossing my index finger and middle finger. 'We just don't have a title and were both okay with that. So like claim him, but just don't be going around this my boyfriend and she my girlfriend..' I said trying to explain it.

'Yeah I understand thank you, I'll talk to him after school I guess.' She said, and we got up just as the bell rang.

Like always I walked her to her class and now I met Anaya, and we walked up the stairs but her class was on the right and and mine is left. I just like starting my day off positive and I do that with them.

First period.. Typing; WooHoo. I feel like this period dragged on longer then what it was suppose to but I sure was the first one out of that class. Now Second period. Best period of the day.

I walked in and sat next to MeMe who was texting away on her phone, I don't think she really noticed me until she got done. She looked happy though so that made me happy.

'Kimberly! Guess what?' She asked excited. I smiled and asked what. 'I get to see my daddy tomorrow and I'm staying with him for the rest of the week'! She said really loud. I laughed and said yay! Then Coach came out from around the corner and had a large ball.

'They say the weather is suppose to be bad, well rain and from past experiences you little girly girls aren't up for that'. He right about that. 'So were being joined by Coach Jones class and were going to play volleyball just with this big blowed up beach ball'. He said, and blew his whistle and his class all got on one side of the net.

We waited for Coach Jones and MeMe and I just talked until we heard footsteps approach, we looked up and saw of course Daniel and Brooklyn holding hands with the rest of they puppets following behind them.

'NO PDA'! I heard Coach Jones yell. Everybody just laughed and went on waiting for the game to start.

Coach Jones had only 2 people participating on her team so of course we were ahead of the game. It was fun though, every time MeMe would score she would do some type of look and I would just bust out laughing.

'Hell yeah!' MeMe yelled as we scored the last point to win the game.  I'm pretty sure in one part of the game she tried to hit Alicia.  I laughed and we made our way to the water fountain on the other side of the gym.

As MeMe was drinking I dunked her head into the water.  'What the hell Kimberly?!'                     'What?' I said, 'You was hot wasn't you?' She shrugged and playfully pushed me. While I was turning around to walk away I bumped into someone. I began to look up and apologize but then I realized it was Daniel and his posse.

'Watch where your going bitch!' Brooklyn yelled at me. 'And watch who you talking to.' I said back. 'Listen, don't make me--' 'Don't make you do what hoe?' MeMe interrupted, leaning to punch her. I pulled her back and turned her around. 'MeMe I already told you they not worth our energy now chill'. She looked at them, then back at me. 'Okay, lets go before one of these hoes catch these hands.'. I laughed silently and grabbed her arm and walked off.
