Tommy sat there in prison next to the person he hated with all of his gut...

The man who had tormented him and everything he believed was wrong with this server...

Or that's what he thought at the beginning least.

That's what he wanted to believe... It's what everyone wanted to believe...

As he sat there curled up in a ball in the corner of the hot obsidian room he watched Dream sit on the side of the room opposite of him. The blonde man was sitting with his legs crossed in the other corner the furthest from Tommy, trying to avoid the younger blonde as much as possible. Tommy watched the lava and pressed himself up against the chest and book stand he was sitting next to, he didn't want to be near Dream either. They were basically just trying to avoid each other, not wanting to start a fight or anything. The two sat there in still silence, Tommy shifting how he was sitting very often because of how silent it was.

But then Tommy noticed the cat that was left inside the cell by Sam, the creeper hybrid thinking they needed some company other than each other. But what Sam didn't account for was that the cat hated Tommy and loved Dream. The cat didn't even seem to mind Dream being very out of it and not there in the current moment. All the cat did was sit there, the cat rubbing against Dream's leg and hand once and awhile. Dream just looked down at the cat once and awhile, just watching the feline do its thing. Tommy noticed how Dream seemed to not really care about anything that was happening around him. He was just watching the cat rub against his leg and arm, not even moving to pet it. But the cat didn't seem to care, it just wanted to be with Dream.

But messed with Tommy...

Just looking at Dream made Tommy feel weird. Dream was usually hiding in the shadows and people didn't really know when he was around. But now there wasn't really anywhere to hide. Dream couldn't just watch from afar and be all secretive when stuck in this small cell. Even Dream's appearance was different to Tommy. Dream's mask was gone, his green hoodie was gone, and he had no armor and no weapons to hurt him with. He was pretty much harmless where he sat. But Dream didn't have a mask... That meant that Tommy could see the blonde's face, Dream right there in front of him. In the past Tommy had thought the admin didn't have a face. Even Tubbo thought Dream was faceless until the one day that Techno accidentally shattered Dream's mask during a battle. That day the world only saw a small sliver of Dream's face, one of his eyes showing through a small crack in his mask.

But now...?

He was exposed to the world...

But specifically to Tommy...

But it was clear to Tommy that the man had seen better days. His dirty blonde hair was stained with grime and what Tommy recognized was dried blood. Tommy could see all of his scars from past battles and wars, Tommy recognizing some and not even knowing about others. He could see the man's many freckles that dusted his cheeks and his dull green emerald eyes, the dullness reminding Tommy of what his eyes looked like when he was stuck in exile with Ghostbur. But Tommy also noticed that Dream seemed like he wasn't even there, his mind wandering as he zoned out right in front of Tommy. It was new to the teen. He usually was always ready for a fight and always thinking about what to do next. He was always there in the moment and ready to respond to any situation. But now he just seemed like a shell of his past 

self...

It made Tommy a bit uneasy...

"So... Are you going to fucking say something you green bitch...? Are you going to taunt me or try and convince me that all my friends hate me and stuff? What's going on in that big head of yours now?" Tommy tried to taunt but the hesitance in his voice caused him to seem scared. All Dream did was let out the weakest hum he could muster, the blonde's dull green eyes peering up at the boy. Tommy raised an eyebrow, the teen getting frustrated quickly as he narrowed his eyes and glared at Dream.
