Ring ring!

Yao ran to the phone and picked it up.

"Hello-aru?"

...

"Huh?! Why a meeting so suddenly-aru?!"

...

"Okay, okay! I'll come!"

You curiously peeked out of your room.

"Something wrong, Yao?" you asked.

"I suddenly have a meeting with other countries..." said he, scratching his head with a sigh.

"Countries?" you asked.

Yao nodded.

"You're a country?" you blinked in surprise.

"Yes, I represent China. I thought I already told you?"

"Well, yeah, but I thought you were joking!"

"Why would I even joke about that?" Yao narrowed his eyes at you.

"Well, honestly, nobody would believe you if you told them that you were the personification of China, right?" You asked.

"That's true," he puckered his lips and nodded.

"So, anyway, most of the countries will be there, right?"

"Yes!" said Yao.

"May I come along?" You asked, giving him the puppy eyes.

"No problem!" He grinned.

---

Both of you were in the conference room with other countries. Everything was in a mess and Yao looked annoyed. So did few other countries.

Suddenly, a guy with blonde slicked back hair slammed his fist on the table and yelled,

"WHAT ARE YOU ALL DOING?! WHY ARE YOU ALL MAKING MORE PROBLEMS INSTEAD OF SOLVING THEM?!"

You agreed with him secretly.

Everyone sat down silently and restlessly glanced at each other.

A young man with dirty blonde hair and glasses got up and asked,

"Yao, who is that next to you? Is she a micro nation?"

Yao stood up and you did too.

"Unfortunately not. She is _____ ______. She happens to be half Japanese and half American,"

The guy blinked. Everyone looked at you.

"Oh really?!" he exclaimed and looked at you, "I'm Alfred F. Jones or America!"

"Nice to meet you," you politely nodded.

The rest were silent.

"Hey! How about the rest of you introduce yourselves?" Alfred urged.

"Arthur Kirkland, England" said the blond with a British accent.

"I'm Francis Bonnefoy or France~" said the guy holding a rose with a wink.

"Ve~ I'm Feliciano Vargas or just North Italy!" said the next.

"Ludwig Beilschmidt. I represent Germany,"

"Honda Kiku or just Japan."

"Heracles Karpusi. Greece,"

"Sadiq Adnan! I'm Turkey!"

"Antonio Fernandéz! ¡Soy España!"

"Lovino Vargas. South Italy,"

"Gilbert Beilschmidt the awesome! I'm Prussia!"

"Rodrich Edelstein. I'm Austria. Pleasure to meet you,"

"Matthew Williams...I'm Canada,"

"Berwald Oxenstierna. Sweden,"

"Ivan Braginsky or Russia, da,"

So, everyone introduced themselves.

"I'm ____ ______. Nineteen years old. Half American and half Japanese. I used to live in California until I came to China to stay,"

"What made you come to China?" asked Arthur.

"Ah well..." you thought of something to say.

"She was interested in the culture of my country! That's all-aru!" said Yao, covering up for you.

"Oh okay! Go ahead and have fun in his country, yeah?" said Alfred, really happily.

You nodded and sat down.

So the meeting went on. Not smoothly to you but smoothly to them. This went on till evening.

Finally everyone left the conference room annoyed and tired of the Allies' arguments.

It was almost night time when Yao and you walked home together.

You suddenly felt drowzy and said, "Man, I'm feeling sleepy..."

Yao looked at your sleepy little face and smiled.

"Hang on. We're almost there," he said.

"I don't think so...." you mumbled and fell on him, already fast asleep.

-Yao's P.O.V-

______ suddenly fell on me and I quickly caught her so she wouldn't fall down. My cheeks felt weird when she did that.

"She's asleep already?" I sighed, "It's amazing how she doesn't need a bed to fall asleep,"

"Looks like someone needs a piggy back!" I grunted as I carried her on my back.

"I wonder why I feel happy doing this..." I mumbled to myself, looking at the stars.

The full moon in the clear night sky, brightened up the surroundings. All the shops were closed and only the moonlight was there.

"Come to think about it, when I saw her in the alley that day, I gave her a piggy back too!" I laughed.

"It's been long..."

I walked on, till I reached home. I went to _____ room, put her in bed and pulled the blanket over her.

I took a deep breath and looked at her. She's so beautiful. Who cares if her family abandoned her? Who cares about her past? That doesn't matter. She's still beautiful to me, no matter what.

As I got up and left the room, I realized something which made me smile to myself.

"I like her."
