Harper POV.

As I was running away from them I see something run at me with full speed.

"Wait stop!!" The girl scream at me.

I keep going with out looking back I could hear them fighting I stop once I got some distance from them to see what was going on.

It was the man from last night that tried to kill me, fighting the big guy who I was running from, the big guy grabbed the man by his left arm and broke it,
The girl started saying something in a different language something I never heard before, right behind her something black like chains came up out of ground and wrap itself around him it like something out of a movie.

I couldn't move, my body wouldn't let me move Like I was paralyzed her eyes were closed feceing the man from last night he said something to them before the big guy punched him in the face.

I was too busy watching the two guys argue to realize the girl had disappeared
" well princess will you come back with us now so I don't have to hurt you please" she whispered in my ear I snap my head around and screamed as she watch me she was right behind me how did she get right behind me so fast and how did she know where I was hiding.

" Hey I'm not tryna kill you I just want to know if you were one of them " I looked at her like she was talking out of her ass, I could have sworn they were trying to kill me last night she saw the whole thing so why would she think I'm am with them.

" why would I be with them if they were trying to kill me" I said as she grabbed me to helped me on my feet. "rogues kill each other all the time what would be so different now all I want to know is if you were in there little group or not " she told me grabbing me by the arm and dragging me back to the tall guy.

" NO no no! I don't even them I got lost on my way home from my job and got a flat tire on my bike and then out of nowhere I was getting chased down by men that can change into wolves, plus they're cannibals and i almost died by them, then you guys came out of nowhere and save my life, I passed out, and then i wake up in a strange room surrounded by change people that I don't know I got scared so I ran like any normal person would, all I was doing was trying to get home that's all, that's all I ask but no now I'm in the middle of something" I said in one breath heavily breathing trying to calm down my fast beating heart.

The guy looks at me and then looks at the girl like he was saying something
Towards her then she nod her head and turns back around to me " okay then but why did you run "

" I was scared anyone would have ran if they woke up in a strange place with people they don't know plus I was just trying to go home to my aunt which she's probably already looking for me and probably called the cop's and all that stuff, can't I go home now please" I said now noticing I didn't get in contact with aunt jade since yesterday whose probably having a heart attack as we speak.

" we can't let you do that you need to speak to Elijah first and then he will decide what to do with you" this time the big guy said with the deepest voice I have ever heard.

" wait who is this Elijah guy and why does he gets to decide whether I go home or not I won't tell anyone of what I saw i promise I just want to go home please" My voice crack while I was speaking.

" we can't do that kid, you just need to spend a couple more hours here with us until he gets here and if he says it's okay for you to go home Maggie here will erase your memory of last night and you'll be back in your normal life, now how's does that sound" he said looking at me.

I mean if he says it's okay for me to go home and they wipe my memory of last night I can get my life back and never have to think about this again but if I refuse and cause a scene they're probably going to kill me... so the best thing to do right now is agree and pray he says it's okay for me to go home.
