It's been awhile since Elijah had left, since he was gone Charles and Maggie had been telling me all about what a werewolf and luna is and more about mate Bond and the rolls they play as the pack leaders

Now that I know Elijah won't kill me I feel a lot better but I now know why he can't kill me is because I'm his mate, the pack luna, after Charles told me more about werewolves and this hole mate's thing I found out about what will happen if I reject him.

When Charles told Maggie to show me what happens while being rejected I didn't believe them at first but after she put her hands on my head and showed me what happens I almost broke down watching,

Even After she showed me just the thought of him dieing it wasn't sitting right with me, my heart and head started to hurt just trying to imagine him lifeless,

I don't think I can do that to him I know I sound crazy or stupid but if what they say is true that means a part of me will die to and I will become depressed and suicidal, so that definitely not on the table Plus I can't kill anyone that's just not me.

Charles asks waiting for my answer.

" I don't... i- ughhh I don't know he-" I was about to say something but Maggie interrupted me.

" Harper didn't you say your aunt's name was jay?" Maggie look like she's was trying to remember something.
" no her name is jade and she's a doctor for a family that's the big reason why we moved here in the first place". As soon as those words left my mouth Maggie eyes almost popped out of her sockets.

" I knew it jade is the new pack doctor she works for Elijah's pack she use to be very famous for her ability to cause the worst damage to the brain by just black magic she was top of all her class in every Academy. no wonder I couldn't put my finger on it i heard jade and her sister were famous very famous among all the witches they were the strongest duo in the world until her sister went missing and that's was the last time we heard of them until Jade ask Elijah if she can move here and stay in his territory and she will help him while being the pack doctor" I couldn't believe this my aunt jade is a witch.

Is that why she didn't want to tell me everything about her job and who she worked for is this the reason, is this the real reason why she doesn't talk about my mom and why she left me. I can't this is to much for me in one day, I wanted to cry or get mad but I didn't but anger is rushing through my veins, anger and betrayal I still can't calm down maybe that's why I haven't cried yet.

" this can't possibly be true jade is just jade i- " I was cut off again by Maggie she really loves interrupting me.

" how about I call her over and we will see ok" I nodded my head yes she pulled out her phone made a call after she talked for a minute and then hung up her phone she looked at me and smiled.

We sat down and started talking for an hour or so I got lost in the conversation Maggie and Charles were having I zoned out thinking about other things.

I wonder where Elijah is and what he's doing... girl stop what are you thinking about right now you don't even now him... wait! " Hey guys umm didn't you say before that if we are mate's we both should be feeling some type of way about each other like I would be very attached to him right now I haven't felt anything like that since he got here maybe I'm not his mate like what if I got his mate sent on me. I do work at a store" i told them the truth.

" oh girl it doesn't work like that a werewolf can smell if it was just his mate's sent on you but... I think it's because your magic is block off so you can't feel the real affect of the mate Bond but don't worry as so as I can break the spell on you, you will feel everything tenfold it's gonna be very difficult for you for at least a week or so but you will then see that you and Elijah are mate's "
