Peter's POV

I decline the call again as I pack my suitcase. Why can't Nick Fury just leave me alone? I debate bringing my original Spider-Man suit. I shake my head. Time to be a normal teen. No super-hero stuff. I pick up the scrapbook that Kate and I made the summer before the Blip. I open it. Photos and stickers cover the pages. I smile at a picture of us in front of the Eiffel Tower when Mr. Stark took us to Paris. And the picture of Kate shoving a croissant in my mouth

"Hungry?" May calls.

Suddenly, something hits me in the shoulder. I jump, dropping the scrapbook. I look over at the banana that hit me in the shoulder. "May!"

"Whoops, sorry!" May chuckles. "I thought you could sense that with your... Peter-Tingle!" She points with a grin.

I sigh. "Please do not start calling it my Peter-Tingle." I pick up the scrapbook and put it in a drawer.

May walks further in, staring at the framed picture of me and Kate. "So what's up? You can dodge bullets, but not bananas?" She asks, attempting a joke. When I don't react, she looks at me with a sympathetic look on her face.

"Sweetie, I know you miss her." She sighs. "I remember my first break-up." She kisses my forehead.

"No, May, I just... I really need this vacation. I need a break." I say, clearly in denial.

"And you deserve it." May says, hugging me tightly. I hug her back. When we pull apart, she taps my shoulder. "You know what? You should pack your suit, just in case. I have a tingle about it." She teases.

I groan as she leaves. "Please stop saying "tingle," May!"

Time Skip, Kate's POV

"M.J., you did not need to pack your whole book collection." I say, laughing at my friend as we meet outside my house. "Bye, Morgan!" I call, waving to my sister.

"I need something to entertain me on this lame trip." M.J. says.

I laugh. "Well, I'll help you. I have super-strength after all. Now come on, or we'll be late."

*

"Yo, Parker. This is called an airplane. It's like the buses you're used to, except it flies over the poor neighborhoods instead of driving through them." Flash calls to Peter, sipping a cocktail. I shoot him a warning glare.

As a bit of revenge, I tap a flight attendant on the shoulder. "Ma'am? He Blipped, so technically, he's 16, not 21."

"I'll take that." The attendant says, snatching his drink.

Flash gaps. "She's lying. I don't even know this girl." He tries to protest.

Peter's POV

I laugh as Flash tries to get his drink back. Brad Davis appears out of nowhere behind me and Ned. "Classic Kate, right?" He asks, laughing.

I scrunch my face up a bit and turn to Ned. "Did you know Brad was coming?" I ask Ned. Ned shakes his head. I turn to him. He's holding Kate's bag above her head.

"Give it back!" She exclaims, laughing. I suddenly feel a bit threatened.

"It's so weird." Ned says, snatching me back to reality. "One day, he's that kid who cried and got nosebleeds all the time, and suddenly, we Blip back, and he's totally ripped and super nice and all these girls are after him."

I stare at Brad and Kate. "Not all the girls are after him. At least, not Kate or M.J."

"No, man, they're all after him. And you never know about Kate." Ned unzips his bag. "Anyway, on to more important things. It's a nine-hour flight. We can play Beast Slayers the whole time." I zone out a bit, focusing on Kate and M.J. who are sitting together.
