Chapter 22

Illyanna's POV

So I left....my home I made I left the barrier up for protection from walkers. Riding in one of the car with my dad, and brother...and Negan.

 I sit in the back seat scared out of my mind. Daryl basically hates me. This was a terrible idea what was I thinking. I feel a hand on top of mine. 

Negan: Illy It'll be okay I promise.  

Sighing I look into the mirror seeing my dad  looking at me, and Negan. After a awkward long car ride we pulled up to Alexandria. I felt my stomach drop. As the gate opens I see...

Daryl... 

At our old house.. Then I see him look up seeing the car. Then I swear to god we locked eyes. The look I saw on his eyes felt like the most awful thing ever. He looked at for a split second then turned away. 

He so hates me...

Daryl's POV

Its been I don't even know how long since Illy left. I miss her I really do. I try to not think about her I really do. As I sit on the porch cleaning my arrows. The gate opens up, and I see Rick's car pull in. Then I see 

Her....

Then she saw me I know she saw me. We locked eyes but, then I saw...Negan right next to her. I turn my face away out of anger, and I hate to admit I felt jealous that HE was the one to bring her back. I secretly look out of the corner of my eye seeing her face. She look down sad almost. 

Back To Illyann's POV

As the car comes to park my dad, and brother gets out of the car. I although stay right in my place. 

Negan: Illy? It's okay come on. 

I...I can't not yet I need a minute go on ahead I'll be out in a minute. He just nods his head getting out of the car.  I look, and see my dad talking to Daryl, and I start to feel sick. All I can think is he hates me, he hates me, he hates me. I totally zone out literally stuck in my thoughts. 

Until....there's a knock on the window.

I turn my head, and see...

Daryl

I look right into his eyes, and feel my stomach drop into my ass. 

Daryl's POV

I watch as Rick, Carl, and Negan get out of the car but, no Illy. Rick walks to me 

Rick: Hey Daryl...

You..you found her? 

Rick: Yeah she was in this town she had a barrier around took some convincing but, she came back. 

What she's do? 

Rick: She basically used her powers turning all our guns to me wanting us to leave but, then Negan ran through the barrier at the last minute. Then came back with her. 

So all it took was that asshole going after her to get her to come back.!!

Rick: Daryl...it's not like that she's scared she thinks you hate her I told her that wasn't true. 

I walked away wanting to go back to my business but, I ended up finding myself walking towards the car. I find her completely out of it. Knocking on the window she snaps out of it looking up staring right at me. 

Back To Illyanna's POV

I snap out of my stare grabbing my bags opening the door. Just standing there looking down. Until Daryl speaks to me. 

Daryl: Illy? 

I look up twiddling my fingers out of nervousness.
