I was sat in the Wheelers house with Nancy looking through magazines while her brother and his friends were playing DnD. We were sat having fun until Barb called. Nancy answered while I was still interested in the magazine I was reading, I didn't really listen to the phone call until Dustin knocked on the door.
"Hey Nancy. There's a slice left if you want it. Sausage and pepperoni." He told Nancy.
"Hold on." She said to Barb as she got up to close the door. I stopped her as I looked at the clock.
"Sorry Nance I've got to go. My dad needs me home. Bye." I said walking out her bedroom door.

I sat on the stairs to put my shoes on. I walked out with Dustin out the door as he threw the pizza in the trash.
"There's something wrong with your sister." Dustin told Mike.
"What are you talking about?" Mike asked him.
"She's got a stick up her butt." Dustin said.
"Yeah. It's because she's been dating that douchebag, Steve Harrington." Lucas told Mike.
"Yeah, she's turning into a real jerk." Dustin said.
"She's always been a real jerk." Mike told them.
"Nuh-uh, she used to be cool. Like that time she dressed up as an elf for our Elder tree campaign." Dustin said slowly riding off.
"Four years ago!" Mike shouted to him.
"Just saying." Dustin said riding off.
"Later." Lucas said.
"Bye Mike." I said as I grabbed my bike and rode off with Lucas and Dustin while Will stayed behind with Mike. I didn't know what they were talking about and then Will caught up.

"Goodnight, ladies." Lucas said as he turning into his drive way.
"Kiss your mom night for me." Dustin shouted to him.

"Race you two back to my place? Winner gets a comic." Dustin asked.
"Any comic?" Will asked him.
"Yeah." Dustin said as Will started riding off. "Hey! Hey! I didn't say 'go'! Get back here! I'm gonna kill you!" Dustin kept shouting.
"I'll take your X-Men 134!" Will shouted as he sped past Dustins house.
"Son of a bitch." Dustin said stopped. I stopped with him.

"Night Dustin." I said.
"Night, tell your dad I said night." Dustin said as he got off his bike and went inside.
I also got off my bike and pulled into the side of my house. Living a door away from Dustin was weird but fun.

I walked inside through the back door and locked it. I thought I was in the clear until the light turned on.
"Y/n Callahan. You're late." My dad said.
"I'm sorry, I-" My dad cut me off.
"It's ok, if you came home on your bike with Dustin, Lucas and Will." My dad said.
"Yea I did. We all raced to Dustins and the winner got one of his comics and Will won and he picked Dustins X-Men 134. Dustin also said Night." I told him.
"Sounds fun." He said.
"How was your day?" I asked.
"Nothing other than the usual." He said.

We said down and had our dinner before going up to bed. Living with your dad and being an only child can be hard.

Waking up the next morning and eating breakfast with my dad was boring but he always drove me to work with him and I would leave him to walk to school. I met Barb outside of school and was left by her so she could find Nancy. I walked to my locker and put some books into the locker and took a few books out and stuffed them into my bag. Someone then grabbed my bag. I shut my locker to find my best friend Robin.
"I'm guessing Barb cares more about Nancy than us." She said.
"Probably because of that guy Steve Harrington." I told her.
"He's such a dingus." She said.
"Well come on the bells about to go, let's get to class." I said as she handed me my bag back and we walked to class. We split off as soon as she got outside of her class. I got to my class and just focused on the boring day ahead of me.

Mathematics. It got boring, very boring. It got to lunch and I sat down with Robin we both ate quickly before going back to our lockers.

There was half and hour until the end of the last lesson.
"Excuse me, and sorry to interrupt do you have a Miss Y/n Callahan in this class?" The principal asked.
I stood up with my bag and followed her out to my dad.
"Hey Y/n." He said as I got closer to him and the Chief. I got in my dads police car and we drove to Hawkins middle school.
"Why are we here?" I asked him.
He was silent. We met the principal and the Chief told him that we needed Michael, Dustin and Lucas for questioning.
