C H A P T E R 5 0

Author's Pov

The table was filled with different types of food that ranged from the father's favourite pancake to the little boy's favourite banana milk.

The mother sat next to her husband after fetching the food from the counter while the big brother sat next to the little boy.

But there was a small plan working inside the little brain of the boy. He needs to win her parents over with something he plans to do.

"Mom~" He whined cutely knowing that his dear mother cannot resist his bunny smile he inherited from his father.

"I already said no Jungkook." His mom said making the little boy slump back in the chair crossing his hands across the chest pouting.

"It's too dangerous to visit the market at night buddy." His dad then sided with his mom making the boy's pout deepen.

The older boy watched the exchange and then smiled looking at his parents. "I'll be with them. So that they won't be alone."

The boy who was pouting quickly stood in the chair and looked at his parents with his huge doe eyes gleaming with excitement and hope.

His mom smiled watching the boy and gave a nod. "Fine. But you both have to protect Y/nie okay?"

The boys chorus their promise to protect the little girl together knowing that it isn't something that should be done just cause they were asked to. It's something they will always do no matter what.

Breakfast was over quickly with the boy swinging his legs on the chair munching on a pancake dreaming about the plan he finally got permission to do.

Resigning into the shared bedroom of him and his brother, he slumped on the bed.

His brother watched the boy and smiled. Curiousity filled him so he couldn't help but voice out his question.

"Why do you want to take her to the market at night?"

Jungkook lifts his head up to peep at his brother who is 8 years older than him.

"I heard people say that the place looks beautiful. Also the stars are so pretty from there at night. That's what they said. And since Y/nie likes stars, I want to take her." He mentioned.

Jungsoo smiled at his brother who got back into day dreaming again.

The day went by and soon nighttime came. The two boys left their place with a few snacks their mom made to go pick Y/n up from her house.

Y/n's parent's trusted the boys to protect her and they also knew Jungsoo is a really good boy who would never let any harm come to the little couple.

So when they went to pick her up, they were greeted with a warm welcome by her parents.

"Hello boys. Y/n is in her room. Why don't you guys go and ask her to come?" Her mom said with a smile.

Jungkook thanks his aunt and ran to Y/n's room excitedly screaming the girl's name. Jungsoo sat down on the sofa.

The littlest boy they all adore came into the living room then dragging an iron man figure holding it from it's head. The boy was wiping his eyes as if he just got up from sleeping.

Upon seeing the older brother whom he adore so much, he screamed as loud as a 3 year old can muster. "Jughsoonie hyung!"

Jungsoo smiled at the self made nickname of the little boy. He ran with his cubby legs and jumped onto the boy's lap and curled in, looking for a good position that he always sit on in his lap.
