CHAPTER 3

3RD P.O.V.....

" Meet my husband-to-be , New".

The board looked at the handsome yet really confused boy." Umm New, love ....", The latter turned to stare at Tay and face said it all. Reading his mind New cleared his throat and said," Morning khrap , my husband told me he would introduce me and I am truly sorry since I forgot", New lies right to the the elders' face and they believed him. Tana was also at the meeting and although he knew they were telling lies he wanted to get the fun outta this.

The meeting ended peacefully as the elders now welcoming Tay's "husband" into the company. The reason for his lying was that the elders of the board wanted him to get married to unify his company to others but he really rejected the offer. "Okay, so Mr. New as said we would like you and Mr. Vihokrantana to publicly introduce yourselves so that I here won't be a scandal claiming Tay's accession to the dynasty of the Vihokrantana companies", One the old men said.  Still not convinced as to why Tay must get married, New still played along to the end of the meeting.

At noon the meeting was closed and the elders as well Tana left the office. Tay packed his files ready to go when he felt stuff on his arm. Turning around he met the world's most annoyed face. " Start explaining", New growled . Tay bowed his head and spoke.........

Flashback.......

While at the meeting,  Tana made  it known to the board in a year's time he will retire and as per tradition,Tay had to take over. But there was ba little set back." Ummm Nong sorry to ask but are you in a relationship", Tay shoke his head and the elders understood what it meant. You see in the company , the heir must have a spouse so that he doesn't waste money on worthless people." No worries son, I made a  deal with our neighbouring  company of the Kastamounts , their son Earth would be more than happy to comply".

Tay hearing his father's words just got bored. Not that marrying a boy is his problem cause everyone knows he is gay but being forced is what he hated. In hope of shutting this ridiculous hope he got up and said," Por, I didn't want to tell you but I urrr....have a boyfriend and we would get married soon enough", he lays low as he thought he has won but Thara, one of the elders spoke," that is great news. I mean at least we could meet him".

Tana wanted to help his child but he was fed up of convincing him to find a groom so he wanted to do so." Arrghh .... what to do......what to do........?" Tay thought  quickly and the answer presented itself in the form of...............

"Ummm a minute please", Tay went to the corner of the room and called the one man he knew would help him out.
..........

Flashforward.......

"And that is how you ended up here", Tay explained to the latter who tried to  understand the situation." Soooo.....you want to be the heir but you have to marry", " yeah", "then why in hell's sake did you call me can't you call a I don't know say a GIRL". Tay stared at him in weirdness before he remembered,"ohh right I am gay". New could not say a word
again feeling bad for bringing up that topic........

Later that evening, Tay and his father were having dinner and the old man decided to question his son,"Tay , so you and New huh? I thought you despised him", Tay immediately chokes on the food he wanted to mov away but didn't want to blow his secret said," Dad I have loved for a long time now......he and I attended same Uni. and that was were we you know hit it off", Tay said proudly.

Tana did not talk again and they spent their night peacefully.

Elsewhere.......

" How can that boy reject my Plern. He wants to be a fag huh? tsk.....tsk.... let's see how long he can hold up........"
