Max's POV

"Oh. Revenge. How would we get revenge?" El asks. "Well, it would take a bit of planning, but it's easily possible." I reply. "We want them to want us back...to make them jealous" I say. "Wouldn't us being in a relationship with someone else make them jealous?" El asks. "Yes. Exactly." I say pointing at her. "But all the boys here are...weird and...gross" I say. "Let's keep thinking and reconnect our thoughts at lunch. K?" I conclude. "K" El agrees.

It's been a few periods and it's now lunch time. I see El coming down the hallway towards me. I assume she had no idea what was happening in her classes. "Hey" I say. "Hi" El says. "Are you okay?" I ask. "Yea, just had so many thoughts going through my head while I was trying to learn and think of ways to get revenge at the same time" El says, panicking. "Hey, hey it's okay. It's fine. We can brainstorm at lunch. Ok?" I say."Ok" she groans, falling into my arms. She's so cute. I mean- gahh. Whatever. "C'mon, get up. Well miss lunch break" I say. "Alright." She groans, but gets up.

I don't know what those feelings were back there, but they seem familiar to me. Like I've felt them before...but not towards El. Maybe Lucas a little? I don't know.

"Hello! Max I thought we were going to brainstorm" El say, snapping me out of my trance. "Yeah, yeah sorry. I spaced out there" I reply. "Well, we better focus if we are coming up with an idea." El says. "We should go somewhere more private if we want no one to know about this" I say. "That's a good idea. Maybe the AV room? We could eat our lunch and we don't have to hide the ideas from anything" El says. "Yeah, that seems like a good idea. Let's go" I say as we pack up our lunches and head to the AV room.

"Wait...are you sure we still have access to the AV room? We're not in the club." El asks, about halfway there. "Yeah, we still have access. Mr. Clark decided for us the have the AV room because not enough people were in the club" I explain. "Oh ok" El answers.

Once we get to the AV room, I take the keys out of my pocket and unlock the door. Me and El get in the room, and I feel butterflies fluttering in my stomach. Why am I getting butterflies? I've been around El so many times. Just not alone with no one else around. "Hey, I have an idea" I say. "Yeah?" El asks. "Since we want them to be jealous, you and me can pretend to be girlfriend's"
