"Bullshit!" Sakura roared. Haku couldn't help but think that maybe even his neighbours (who were a friendly couple who both were retired Anbu) heard Sakuras yells.

"Sakura..." he stated, trying to pacify the incredibly angry genin.

Sakura had come to Hakus house in the morning that day. It was the day of the Chunin exams and at their normal meet up time she'd be busy. So she came early, only to find Haku packing for an S rank mission. He was leaving at midday.

"You're not even a fully fledged Jonin. Let alone an assassination specialist. How the fuck would Hokage-sama have approved of this? This is stupidity at its finest. What if something goes wrong?"

"Sakura." Haku stated, trying again to calm her down, but she just continued.

"This isn't fair. I'm guessing they guilt tripped you? With all that foreign nin BS. Did they? Bastards. Full of shit." Sakura continued to curse, strings of colourful language streaming out of her mouth.

"SAKURA!" Haku yelled, finally gaining the attention of (the slightly terrifying) pink haired girl. "They didn't guilt trip me into anything. The Hokage came towards me with an assassination mission and promised me the rank of Jonin for completing it. That means higher rank missions and more pay. So i agreed." That was half true. Yes, the Hokage had approached him with the mission, and yes he was promised an increased rank, but the bulk of the deal had to do with keeping Sakurs safe in respective to the upcoming exams. Haku sighed. His allegiance with this village was incredibly fickle. Until shown how powerful he was, his fellow ninjas shunned him. The only person who his allegiance fully complied with here was Sakura.

Sakura made a strange face at him and sighed "you're not allowed to die, alright? If you do I'll bring you back and woop your ass myself." Haku nodded, a wave of pure affection for the girl rolling over him. Damn, he was a lucky guy.

Sakura found herself outside of the examination centre panicking because she couldn't find her poison wires that morning. Where the hell she had put them, she'd never know. She managed to convince herself that if was very unlikely anyone would grab her hair in this situation since she'd have her teammates on hand. The girl waited for a couple of minutes before both of her teammates rushed to her sides and they walked in.

The whole time Sasuke felt Sakura was very off. She'd been off since the land of the waves mission. And he didn't like it one bit. She stopped caring for him. Why did she stop caring for him? It made no sense. How could someone change so quickly? Unless she had gotten over him. She couldn't have. Not when he was starting to...like her. Not possible.

Both Sakura and Sasuke had realised something was very off when they walked up two flights of stairs and the rooms signs said third floor. But unlike Sakura, Sasuke hadn't immediately put two and two together and realised it was a genjutsu. Sakura had, and as she watched the two fake genin push down that poor girl, something in her snapped. Why did everyone hate on the kunoichi?

"Cut the crap. Take down the stupid genjutsu and stop abusing the genin. They didn't come here to fight with Chunins who have Egos the size of their heads." Eventhough Sasuke wanted to gape at her, he didn't. He knew she had better chakra control and a more calculating eye than him.

"Yeah, what she said." Now that pissed off Izumo. So the kid does nothing, let's his female teammate make all of the painfully correct observations, and then agrees at the end like it was all his idea, and he was totally thinking the same thing. Ugh, Uchihas.

Izumo and Sasuke both seemed to both have the same brilliant idea to kick eachother in the middle of a hallway full on restless genins. And even before Sakura could move an inch to stop them a moving green blur came between the two and stopped the kicks.
