Chapter 09

'Do receptions always ends at 12? Never been to one and I don't want to experience it ever again'

Taehyun's wedding started early and over all it ended at midnight which infuriates him. It never crossed his mind that things like this needs so much energy and he is beyond drained. He is currently inside his husband's car on their way to their home.

He internally snickers at the thought of the word home. He never had one even back at his own world, to say that he craved having a home and being home is truly beyond understatement.

What he needs the most right now is sleep, a 12 hours of sleep because he thinks after everything that happened today that is what at least he deserves to have. His eyes are starting to close but he keeps trying to stay awake until his body hits the soft bed.

One thing that Taehyun hates about himself is that he is not himself when he is very tired, sleepy and just when he wakes up. This has been proven by his manager, his manager back then keeps waiting for the right timing when he's is one of those to see if its real and used it to his advantage.

Just like that one time when Taehyun does not want to attend a show but he really needs to, his manager went to his apartment, waked him up and tried to convince him to show up in which he did. So whenever the manager wants to make Taehyun agrees he waits for the right timing whether he is tired, sleep or just when he wakes up.

Beomgyu saw how the younger tried his best to stay awake and he somewhat pity him and finds him cute at the same time, "You know you could just sleep, right?"

Taehyun put his index finger on his lips, "Shh, don't pay attention to me. Just...just treat me like how you treat him"

The older raised an eyebrow, "Treat who?"

He made a duh sound before answer, "Taehyun! Who else would I be referring to?...oh, wait... that's me." And he finally succumb to sleeps leaving the other confused

"You're weird" was the only thing that Beomgyu could say before looking at him one last time and fixating his eyes on the road.

After minutes of driving they had finally arrived at their destination and Beomgyu's contemplating whether he should wake the sleeping younger or just carry him. But after giving it a thought he brought his hand upon the younger's shoulder and gently shake him.

"We're here" he said but he was ignored

"Wake up, we're already here" he said one more time and it made Taehyun groaned, slowly opening his eyes and looking at him.

"No" he said with a pout and tried to sleep again but Beomgyu shook him more making him groan

"Stop it you fool" he mumbled

Slowly losing his patience, Beomgyu swore to try once again but if it still didn't work he'll leave him here

"Wake up this instance, Taehyun" his voice dropped an octave waking Taehyun but he's out of it.

The younger looked at him with his doe eyes and a pout, he then let out a childish hmph while crossing his arms. Beomgyu studied his state and he can clearly tell that he's not the same as he was earlier.

An idea popped in his mind wanting to confirm his theory, "Sit properly then take your seatbelt off" he commanded and the younger quietly obeyed him without second thoughts.

The corner of Beomgyu's lips raised. He went out of the car and opened the door for the younger, "Out" again, he obeyed.

"Let's get inside, I'm sure you're beyond drained seeing that you're obeying me" he then guided the younger inside their room.

Taehyun's eyes sparkled as soon as he saw the bed, clearly ignoring the fact that there's only one. He took his shoes and blazer off then crawled at the bed, letting out a moan as he was satisfied. which didn't escaped Beomgyu's ears.

"Who's sleeping at the floor?" The older who was standing at the door frame asked.

"Probably not me" he sleepily answered.

Beomgyu closed the door and walked at the side of the bed. He watch as the latter searched something with his eyes closed and when his hand grabbed a pillow he then put it at the middle.

"You can now sleep at the bed since there's already a barrier between us" he murmured s he drifted off to sleep while hugging the said barrier between them.

While watching him sleep a sudden memory played in his mind where the one sleeping in front of him was crying and desperately wants to gain his love. But now, he can't see him anywhere the younger anymore.

When he saw him at the church he didn't expect his expression at all, at first he thought he'll see him wearing a smile while walking down the aisle but instead what he saw was him getting angry at the thought of him the one to walk.

His expression and reaction earlier caught him off guard as if he became a different person after their talk. To say that he wasn't guilty at all when he heard the news of him trying to end his life at the han river was a complete false. He did feel guilty so he decided to visit him but he eventually left when the younger showed signs of waking up.

He was relieved when he showed signs of waking up, meaning he isn't held responsible.

He grinned, "This will be interesting"
