Chapter 15

'Where am I?'

After fainting Taehyun found himself in an endless place, all white and he's been walking endlessly not knowing if he's really walking or if he's stuck in his place.

Not giving up he started to run and after running for an hour he finally made it at the end where the paradise lies. Nature and pond surrounds him making his heart calm down. As he roams around he saw Taehyun's parents arguing, being a curious person he is, he walked closer to hear what they were arguing about

"How can you do this?! Just for money you'll give away our child?!!!" Taehyun's mom yelled but his husband was unfazed

Wait...did she just say give away? They'll give away Taehyun?

"This is for the sake of our family why the fuck can't you understand that? As if we can raise two children" Taehyun's eyes widen

Children? Damn what kind of parent is he? I was right to say being an orphan is much more enjoyable than having him as a parent. Seconds later they turned to smoke and were gone making him continue roaming around

This time he saw the guy they had met at the restaurant with his friends laughing

"Will it be fun if I play with him?"

"Of course and maybe you know" his friend then winked making Taehyun scrunch his nose

He knows exactly what he was talking about, it's either getting in Taehyun's pants or using him for fame or money, "Disgusting piece of shits"

"How do I approach him though? He's always stuck to that annoying friend of him"

One of his friends snickered at him, "But I heard he's going to marry someone rich" this statement of his made the guy widen his eyes

"Then I better step up my game. So what rumor do we spread?" they vanished into smoke just like Taehyun's parents

'Is this his memories? But he's not even there as we speak'

The next people he saw were Beomgyu with his parents and his husband seemed mad at them

"Are you kidding me? Of all the people you can choose you chose the only heir of the Kangs?!! Have you forgotten what they did to grandma?"

'Their conversation at the han river, is this what Taehyun was pertaining to?'

"Honey, at least be rational. Since when did the parents sins became the child's? Taehyun is a kind child, different from his parents and he's suitable for you" his mom gently stated

"Despite of having their surname he is different from the Kangs and we're also doing this to get him out of that family. One of these days they will be the reason of him ending his life and we need to save him"

His dad was now standing in front of his child, "And besides can't you see how much that child loves and cares for you?"

Beomgyu sneered, "I don't care at all" and left but he doesn't know if it's only his imagination or did Beomgyu's eyes softened when their eyes met

It was now Huening Kai and his parents standing in front of him, "Dad, can you please stop it? Taehyun's my friend and I won't leave him just because you said so!"

His dad was fuming, "He is a Kang for god's sake Kai!–"

It was like Huening Kai couldn't hold his temper any longer as his face was now red, "And I don't fucking care!!! I was the one who has been with him since childhood so I get to judge him and not you. I also get to decide whether to stay friends with him or not!!"

"He is different from his parents and I'll never leave by his side just because he is a fucking Kang!!"

This scene impacted him the most, it was the first time he saw the younger be this angry. Usually he'd be so annoying and whatnot but this time it's different, choosing to clash with his parents just to stay by Taehyun's side, it made his heart feel warm.

He may or may not treat him nicely now but what's for sure is that he'll stop himself from choking the younger

It is now the last people he saw after roaming around for an hour now. A lady that was facing a man his age who's back was facing him. He can't hear what they're saying so he advanced forward but it was like something was between them so he kept his distance.

"You have to kill him, my child" the lady said making Taehyun's eyes widen

"H.. he's my friend" the latter answered, his voice was familiar to Taehyun but it was like there's something stopping him from remembering

The lady caressed the latter's cheeks, "My child, kill him and befriend him here again if you do that you will no longer be stuck to–"

He wasn't able to hear their conversations anymore when he felt two hands covers his ears making him flinch, "Stop listening to them" someone whispered in his ear

He immediately turn back as soon as he heard the voice that is identical to his and saw himself with black hair smiling.

That's not him it was the original Taehyun

"You.."

"I'm sorry for taking you away in that world" he started

"Then can you send me back now? I still have life back there, I can't be stuck here in your world"

The original owner smiled and caressed his hair making him feel something familiar yet very unfamiliar feeling, "Do you still remember the rule that you've created?" He nodded mindlessly

"What is it?"

"To not get attach to your world" he answered

"Do you want to go back?"

"Of course what kind of question is that?"

"Where?"

He was dumbfounded as he can't answer him, his mouth refusing to answer

"Back to your world where it's only you or back to our world where you'll live as me but with people by your side?"

"I can't live as you forever, Taehyun-ah" his voice was hoarse

"You are currently living as your self, Kang Taehyun. It might be my body but it is you"

He shook his head no, "It is not my life and I need to go back, this is your world not mine. I don't belong here"

Taehyun nodded and leaned towards him, "Tell me those words when you come back here again. If that is still your answer then I'll send you back with no hesitation"

He felt empty, "Really? You promise?. Why did you even do–"

"I will be waiting for your return and answer all your questions but first, you need to wake up, Kang Taehyun. They are waiting for you"

"Waiting for me? Who–" he wasn't able to continue when the paradise started to disappear and waking up to hear loud wails coming from Huening Kai
