Chapter 01

Woken up by the lights, Taehyun slowly opened his eyes and weakly raised his right arm to block it because it's kind of hurting his eyes. After minutes of adjusting he finally removed his arm and saw that he's at the hospital bed.

The first thing that came in his mind was 'I survived? But the chances were as good as none though?'

His eyes then drifted to his left arm where it was hurting and was tightly bandaged but even so he could still see a drop of blood. He suddenly panicked at the thought.

"I don't remember cutting my wrist?"

While he was panicking inside he didn't heard the door opening and the presence slowly coming towards him. He jolted when he heard a dolphin scream.

"Taehyun-ah, you're finally awake!!."

A silver whiter haired boy suddenly engulfed him with a bone hurting hug that made him yelp, "Ouch.."

The boy immediately removed himself from him and mumbled his apology.

'Who might this be? Never seen him before' he thought as he quietly observed the latter and saw the pure worry and relief in his eyes.

"After 2 weeks of being unconscious you finally decided to wake up-"

"2 weeks?!!"

Was he really out for two weeks? Then what about his work? Damn, his manager will come for his throat.

"Yeah it's been 2 weeks since you jumped at the Han river and let me tell you your parents are not happy.." Taehyun then furrowed his brows as he heard the latter said two shits.

First of all he didn't jumped at the Han river, he accidentally fell at the sea. Second, he's an orphan, he doesn't have any parents. So what nonsense is he bluffing about?.

Now that he's thought about it, "Who are you anyways?." Was enough for the latter to halt what he's saying and look at him confusedly.

"What? What's gotten into you? Is this the result of your brain lacking oxygen when you're drowning at the river?"

The latter then saw the curiosity and unfamiliarity in his eyes making him gasp dramatically. He immediately leaned towards him and pointed himself.

"It's me Huening Kai your only best friend since childhood?."

'What the fuck is this penguin-like saying? I never had friends except for Heeseung'

"..."

"Of all the things and persons that you could forget, why me? Damn." He said as he moved away.

"Just wait for a minute I'll just call the doctor." He then turned around and left his room.

As he saw the boy ran out of his room he saw a mirror beside his bed and curiously took it, "Do hospitals usually have hand mirrors?."

Holding the hand mirror he saw his face with different hair color, his' is black now. His hair was silver when he fell though? Suddenly he remembers what happened when he fell at the sea. He saw someone swimming towards him and he looked exactly like him but he has black hair.

His eyes then widened and let out a gasp, "No fucking way, did we perhaps switched? My soul to his body and vice versa??."

Back then Taehyun loves reading novels where the main character suddenly gets transported into a different world and different body where the person they'll be transported into was a villain.

Now that he was the one to experience it he can't believe it, well he doesn't have a choice so he needs to do so, "Is this perhaps me but in a parallel world? Is that it?" He did heard the boy say his name earlier so what he said makes sense.

'But why though? Damn, I didn't know I am suicidal in a different world'

His thoughts were interrupted by the sudden opening of the door and revealing the boy earlier whose name was Huening Kai and a doctor.

The doctor did something to him before sighing and looking at him. Huening Kai looked at the doctor, "Is what I said earlier true, Doctor? Does he actually have an amnesia?."

The doctor slowly nodded confirming what the younger said and Taehyun was only watching them silently, "Yes and it may be a long term depending if he still wants to regain his memory or not especially since he badly wants to lose his memory and ended up him trying to kill himself."

'What? Taehyun wants to lose his memory? But why?'

"Seeing his state he can leave by tomorrow or the day after tomorrow if he still wants to rest. Refrain him from seeing or going into deep water, it might trigger him to jump again." The doctor explained and Huening Kai thanked him.

Seeing that the doctor is now gone Huening Kai immediately went beside him, "Don't worry, Taehyun-ah. I've already cancelled all my plans for the whole month so that you won't be lonely and you'll have me by your side."

Please don't, forget about me being lonely go do your plans, was the words he wants to say but when he saw the sincerity in his eyes and his pure smile, Taehyun decided to shut his mouth and smiled bitterly before closing his eyes.

'You have someone who cares about you, so why kill yourself, Taehyun-ah?'

"Thanks" he mumbled

Huening Kai froze in his state as he heard the older thank him which had never happened before, and unknowingly, his eyes watered and smiled with fondness in his eyes.

"No need to thank me besides what are friends for, right?."

Enjoying the silence that took over the room, a thought suddenly popped inside Taehyun's mind

'How do I go home?'
