Eight

The next day, they were all eating their breakfast together.

Jimin's and Yoongi's hand touched as they were both trying to take a sandwich. But the problem was..... Yeah there was only one left.

They both sent challenging glares to each other. "I was taking it first," Jimin said.

"And how can you say that?" Yoongi asked stubbornly.

"Because your palm touched the back of my hand," Jimin answered while frowning.

Yoongi rolled his eyes. "Are you being serious right now?" He said.

"Oh, you're one to talk," Jimin said sarcastically. They both were grumpy because of waking up too early. Felix and Seungmin were enjoying the drama and the others were watching them amusedly while Jin was being annoyed.

"Shut up," Yoongi said.

"You shut up," Jimin said back.

"You're the one who started it"

"I did not"

"Yes you did"

"I didn't you did!" They both stood up from their chairs and just as they did, Jin banged his hand on the table creating a loud sound echo in the big hall which was eerily silent.

"Shut up you both," Jin said. "You can literally just split it in half," He rolled his eyes and split the sandwich in half.

Jimin huffed and Yoongi mumbled something in annoyance but ate the now half sandwiches nevertheless. After eating they both went to their rooms.

"Wow, how did you do it?" Haneul asked Jin looking very surprised.

"It's called the Jin effect babe," Hoseok said, putting his arm on Haneul's shoulder.

"Babe?" Jin asked, narrowing his eyes to the pair sitting next to each other.

"Eww don't flirt while eating breakfast," Hyunjin said and fake gagged.

"Can't two friends call each other's babe?" Hoseok asked, flashing a glare to Hyunjin who smiled slyly and flashed an innocent look to Jin who was studying Haneul.

"Hmm, fair enough," Jin huffed.

Haneul stood up. "We're not more than friends... Yet," He whispered in a seductive voice and left making Hoseok's cheeks tint in a light red colour.

"Hey!" Hoseok said and went after Haneul.

Suddenly, Seungmin choked in his mango smoothie causing them all look at him. "I-I'm sorry," He squeaked out and left hurriedly.

"I'm... Just gonna go check what's wrong with him," Hyunjin said, trying his best to hide a grin but to no avail.

"The f- fish is happening to everyone?" Changbin said and corrected himself when he saw the look Jin and Namjoon gave him.

"Who knows," Felix shrugged. "I'mma just go to my room." Felix made a piece sign and left. Changbin sighed and he too left.

Jin shifted his gaze to Taehyung and Jungkook who were being strangely silent as they were whispering to each other. "What are you doing?" Namjoon asked, beating Jin in it.

"What does it look like?" Jungkook said and giggled when Taehyung said something weird in his ear.

"I thought you both always fight?" Jin said, frowning.

"We made up, we're like besties now, right Seagull?" Taehyung said and made a fist.

"Yup, Taebear," Jungkook said and bumped his fist on Taehyung's.

"Let's go," Taehyung said, standing up.

"Where?" Jungkook asked.

"Somewhere where we can  have fun," Taehyung said with a boxy grin.

"Amusement park?" Jungkook asked.

Taehyung sighed. "You weren't suppose to guess that," He said, his voice filled with disappointment. "But... Yes you're right, let's go," He added with a happy voice.

"At least I guessed right," Jungkook said with a proud voice and stood up. He interlocked his hands with Taehyung's and they both started going outside.

"Stay safe!" Jin shouted.

"Don't get in trouble!" Namjoon exclaimed.

"We will and we won't!" They both said loudly and went outside.

"What a chaotic start of the day," Jin shook his head and put the dishes in the dish washer.

"Guess we're only left," Namjoon said, standing next to Jin and rested his back on the kitchen counter.

"Yeah," Jin said. "Wanna play video games? I have a spare Nintendo Switch," He suggested.

"Which one?" Namjoon asked.

"Maple Story," Jin said with a soft smile.

"Yeah," Namjoon said.

They high fived each other and went to Jin's room.
