Twenty two

Yoongi was going to his room when he saw someone in the balcony. It was Jin. He went to him and stood beside him.

"What are you doing out here?" Yoongi asked.

"Can't sleep," Jin answered.

"Because of?" Yoongi asked.

"Everything that happened yesterday, I'm worried, for both Jimin and Jisoo," Jin said as he diverts his eyes on the floor.

"You and Jimin have always been this close?" Yoongi mumbled but Jin heard him.

"Not always, when we first met he was very closed off and talked rudely to everyone. I thought he was just very rude and stopped trying to talk to him.." Jin started.

"Then... You know the criminal case that happened 2 years ago?" Jin asked and Yoongi nodded.

"So... Somehow Jimin was tracking the killer alone. And when the killer found out, he obviously tried to kill Jimin, by electric shock. He would've died by now if it wasn't for his phone location on.." Jin sighed.

"He did it on purpose," Jin said and Yoongi's eyes widen.

"Wait what?" Yoongi said.

"He... Wanted to die, when we saved him, he was mad. He was suffering from depression and couldn't kill himself so he went to the killer. But... He never told me the reason of his depression," Jin said.

"I bet he read your text that was saying he was an idiot for not saying anything to anyone and he didn't read any of the texts after that. He may look tough and rude but he's really sensitive. The closest to him, is Jisoo," Jin said and Yoongi was listening carefully.

"Jisoo has been with Jimin since the starting and knows Jimin better than anyone. I've never seen Jimin react like that, more so he hates being in the rain. I'm afraid he'll be like he was two years ago," Jin rubbed his forehead and looked at the sky.

"Can I ask you a favour?" Jin asked with gentle voice.

"Yes," Yoongi said.

"Can you watch him for me? Because I know we'll not have much time to be together and you're his partner," Jin said.

"Yes, of course," Yoongi said. "Don't worry," Yoongi put his hand on Jin's shoulder and smiled reassuringly.

"Thanks."

Yoongi was walking to his room feeling guilty.

His phone buzzed causing him to look at it.

Emergency

Jimin left the group

Now Yoongi was even more worried.

Yoongi went outside Jimin's room with a piece of paper and a pen and sat on the floor. 

Hey kiddo, I'm sorry. You know I called you an idiot because I wasn't thinking properly. You're really a good person and you're smart. Don't beat yourself up for this hmm? I won't promise that everything will be alright because I don't know myself but nothing will change if you'll blame yourself for this. This wasn't anyone's fault. I'm sorry.

Yoongi wrote and slid down the note from under the door. He was never good with words but it doesn't hurt to at least try.

He was sure that Jimin wasn't asleep by hearing all the very faint cries and sniffles from behind the door.

After a minute or two Yoongi's hand touched something and Yoongi saw the note. He picked it up and chuckled lightly.

I'm not a kiddo.

Yoongi was going to write something but he saw more sentences were written but it was so small. It was like the person didn't want anyone to read that but Yoongi was able to.

I know hyung. But I can't stop thinking it like that. If only I told her that I live with you all then this wouldn't have happened.

Yoongi was a little bit surprised since Jimin never called him hyung before.

You didn't know she was coming. And you tried your best to save her. Sometimes things aren't in control by us. You should go try to sleep now. Good night and you can share anything with me.

Yoongi stood up and saw the note sliding under the door.

He smiled and went to his own room.
