Nineteen

From the past week, Jimin has been noticed Yoongi ignores him if he isn't talking about their work. He doesn't know why does he feel annoyed and hurt even though he doesn't have the right to be.

Yoongi can do whatever he wants.

But he couldn't help but feel the hard pang in his chest whenever he looks at Yoongi and Yoongi doesn't look at him.

God dammit since when did he bacome so important?

Jimin sighed and side eyed Yoongi whose eyes were fixed at the road.

"Ok, what's your problem?" Jimin asked in an annoyed tone.

"What problem?" Yoongi asked back, monotonously.

"Why are you ignoring me?" Jimin said.

"I'm not ignoring you," Yoongi said.

"You clearly are," Jimin said.

"Even if I am why should that concern you?" Yoongi said, bitterly.

"Because...." I like you. Jimin went quiet. He didn't know what to say and the reasons he could think of sounded stupid but what can he do, he wanted to talk to him. Jimin rolled his eyes. "Whatever, I don't care."

"Thought so," Yoongi said and there was a tense silence.

"You don't have to just ignore me, you can literally say that you don't want to talk to me," Jimin said, scowling. He had that feeling of talking to him whenever things got awkward between them.

"I never said that," Yoongi said in his defense.

"You clearly meant that," Jimin said.

"I didn't mean that! If you think I'm ignoring you then it doesn't mean that whatever you say is true," Yoongi said, now scowling. Because, why the fuck should that concern the person who he has feelings for but he doesn't like him back.

Yoongi knew what he was doing because he didn't want to have any hopes.

Hope is just death in disguise.

"What are you doing then? Become deaf whenever I talk to you when we're not on duty?" Jimin asked sarcastically.

"Stop this, we're not even friends," Yoongi said. It hurts to even sat those words.

Jimin bit his lip. Of course, they aren't friends, how can he be so stupid to even think about them being even friends. The reality was like a slap in his face and a punch in his guts.

"Why should I? I can do whatever I want," Jimin said, crossing his arms, feeling more annoyed or that's what he convinced himself he was feeling.

"Then let me do just that!" Yoongi shouted while frowning.

"Okay! Do whatever you want but change your partner if all you're going to do is continue ignoring me!" Jimin shouted back.

They both were insanely stubborn when it comes to quarrels and fights. Neither of them backs up.

"Why do you think I'm ignoring you? I literally talk to you the most," Yoongi said.

"You only reply to me when I'm talking about our work," Jimin said.

"And that's what partners are for, not become friends and hang out," Yoongi said as he sighed.

"Did I ever told you to hang out?" Jimin questioned.

"Then what the fuck do you mean?!" Yoongi yelled.

"You know what? You're being a complete stupid right now," Jimin said.

"You're one to talk, you literally started this," Yoongi said.

"I just said because I wanted to know why you're ignoring me! Technically you're the one who started this," Jimin said back.

"Stop being so goddamn curious!" Yoongi exclaimed.

"I will if it includes me!" Jimin yelled.

"Stop it! You're being childish!" Yoongi shouted.

"And so are you!" Jimin shouted back.

"I'm not!"

"You are!"

"I'm not!"

"Yes you are!"

Suddenly Yoongi pushed the break causing them both to pull forward.

"Ouch," Jimin mumbled, rubbing his head.

"Oh sh-, I'm so sorry," Yoongi said as he turned to see Jimin. "Are you okay?" Yoongi said, genuinely very concerned.

"I'm okay," Jimin said and sighed.

"I'm really sorry, I didn't see the red light before," Yoongi said.

"It's alright," Jimin said.

"You didn't put the seatbelt," Yoongi huffed and started putting the seatbelt on Jimin.

But in the middle of doing so, their eyes met and they both had to control themselves to not just lean forward and close the small distance between them.

In the end Jimin couldn't stop himself as he started leaning forward but as he did Yoongi was done putting on the seatbelt causing Jimin's chest to tighten up. What was he thinking.

"Let's not fight anymore," Yoongi said, making Jimin mentally sigh in relief since he didn't notice what Jimin was about to do. He would probably hate him if he did what he wanted to do.

"I'm sorry if I made you feel ignored." Yoongi apologized genuinely.

"Yeah and no, I'm also sorry for just assuming."
