I barged in the crowded room, the door slamming against the walls. Me going unnoticed? Not likely.

The room goes dead still and every pair of eyes are on me, watching me with confusion and, my favorite, curiosity.

Did I miss something?

I walk away from the doors, casually making my way to the empty line. I peeked over my shoulder. No, they still staring.

What was up with these people? None of them were even talking! That is not natural.

The doors bang open again, harder this time. Colton walks in with his entourage, a frown set on his face. Everyone diverts their eyes to them then back at me.

He follows their gaze and sets his sights on me. He was fuming, ablaze with anger. Ooh, I'm so scared. I glare back at him and him vice versa.

The unnatural silence was now forgotten about, everyone trying to figure out our exchange.

Colton gave me one last glare, yet a failed to miss that last second glint in his eyes, and walked away.

I let out a breath and walked to my table. My mood had turned sour, ever since that guy showed up in our town. My life has been a blur since then.

Slowly, noise filtered in, starting with a whisper then increasing. People jabbered on about that unspoken connection between us. Rumors were already beginning to brew in the pot. I sighed, my hearing picking everything up.

"What was that?" Karen asks, looking over her shoulder to that idiot. I gripped my fork and pushed the food around in my tray, ignoring her.

"What did I miss?" I ask, trying to break the tension.

"Alot. The entire school gathered to hear Sasha's anouncement that she was inviting everybody to her upcoming party." Melody explained.

"And that was the gossip until you came along, followed by them." Cameron finishes off for his sister.

I snort softly. Sasha had a change of heart, huh? Well it kinda sucked that everyone was invited, now there was no way I could crash the party. My life long dream crushed.

"Okay listen, ever since the hottie showed up on the field, you have been acting weird. What the hell is going on?" Karen bangs her fist on the table aggressively. I raise my eyebrows, ticked at her behavior towards me.

I grip my fork tighter, nearly bending it.

"What did happen that day? You just blew it off." Cameron asks, striking the match.

"What's it to you?" I replied stubbornly, that underlying anger hidden.

"Something is up with you and I want to know." his voice rises a few octaves higher.

"And you don't need to know. Drop it already." I pushed out off my seat and grudgingly walked away.

"Hey Haley." That rancid voice coyly called out, drawing everyone's attention back to me.

Again.

"What do you want Sasha?!" I spat out, now glaring at the redhead.

She smiles sinisterly and walks forward, enticing the boys in the room as they stared at her with lust.

I stood firmly on the ground, folding my arms across my chest. I knew something was up with this chick but what. Her whole demeanor right now was screaming things I did not need to handle right now.

She hops on a nearby table, owning the room.

"Well, well, well. What do we have here?" She sang and I rolled my eyes at that old line.
