"It's just weird." Allison whispered, walking in between Lydia and Diana down the hallways of the school. "Everybody's talking about what happened the other night, and nobody knows it was us."
"Thank you for the Protection of Minors." Diana mumbled, rather sarcastically, not really wanting to be involved in yet another scandal in Beacon Hills involving a murder after just having gotten over the last one - well, at least, she could pretend she was over it by now.
In spite of Diana's comment, Allison said nothing, biting her lip quietly, as if hesitating before sighing as she decided to say out loud whatever it was that was on her mind.
"Girls?" She called, hesitantly, causing both of them to hum to let her know they were listening. "Do you think I made the wrong decision?"
"About that jacket with that dress?" Lydia asked, raising an eyebrow at Allison with a nod of her head. "Absolutely."
"You know what I mean." Allison sighed.
"You mean Scott." Diana said, as Allison nodded.
"Yes." She nodded. "What do you think?"
"I... I don't know." Diana shrugged. "I mean... It's hard to say, considering I have yet to understand what actually happened last night."
"Hello?" Lydia scoffed, causing both girls to turn around and look at her. "Scott locked us in a classroom and left us for dead. He's lucky we're not pressing charges, or making him pay our therapy bills..."
At her words, Allison sighed, looking down at her shoes for a second, before lifting her eyes again to meet Diana's and, with just one look at her, the blonde knew what her friend wanted: she wanted a private conversation with her. So, with a nod of her head, Diana let her know that, whenever they had their next free period together, they could talk as much as Allison wanted to.

Allison and Diana sat together in of the stairs of the school, their knees touching as they tried to talk to one another without drawing too much attention, after all, if no one knew that they had been part of the attack at school the night before, people wouldn't ask questions and, at the moment, that was exactly what they wanted. After all, answering questions about something traumatic that happened never really ended well and Diana knew about that quite well. So, sitting together at the bottom of the stairs, the two girls pulled out their history textbooks and placed them open in their laps so that, for anyone passing by, it would just look like they were discussing some homework when, really, homework was the last thing in either of their minds.
"I'm gonna sound insane..." Allison mumbled, rubbing a hand over her forehead as she struggled to even start saying what she had been dying to discuss with Diana ever since the attack.
"Allison..." Diana called gently, reaching for her friend's hand and grabbing it in hers as she tried to offer the brunette some comfort. "You're not gonna sound insane, okay? Whatever it is, you can tell me."
"I just don't want you to laugh at me."
"I would never laugh at you." Diana shook her head, her voice sounding so certain it brought some relief to Allison's mind.
Looking over at her friend, Allison nodded, squeezing Diana's hand in hers as a quiet thank you. Allison took a deep breath then, preparing herself to admit out loud what she had been keeping to herself for far too long now, and, as crazy as she thought she was being, she knew Diana wouldn't judge her. That was the reason she had asked her for a moment to talk, after all, right? Because, as much as Allison was learning to love and appreciate Lydia for who she was, Diana had always been a safe haven to her, ever since they had first met just after Allison had moved to Beacon Hills and she knew by now that, with whatever it was that she had in her mind, Allison could always trust Diana to have her back.
