The party

The pulled up to the party. The went to the criminal and Juliet made one of those speeches Shawn usually made when he busted a case. The criminal pulled out a knife, just that moment Abigail, Gus, Karen and Lassiter came in. Abigail ran to Shawn. The criminal grabbed Juliet and put the knife to her thoart. "Jules" Shawn yelled with worried in his eyes. "No closer or else" the criminal said. Juliet fought back and the criminal tried to strike Juliet but Shawn grabbed Juliet away from the criminal. Shawn fought the criminal for the knife until he got it and kicked the criminal on the ground, And ran to Juliet.

No hesitation.

"Juliet are you okay" he said cupping her cheek with his hand "Shawn im fine are you okay?!" Juliet said in alarm. "I'm fine, I just don't want you to ever be in danger again" he said staring into her eyes. Abigail walked to Shawn jelious. "Shawn are you alright?" Abigail said giving Juliet a look. "I'm fine babe" Shawn said still focused on Juliet, he notices her hiding her hand behind her back. "Jules, show me your hand" Shawn said sternly. Juliet pulled out her hand that was coverd in blood from the criminals knife. "Detective!" The chief said worriedly. Shawn was mad, not just mad he was furious with the criminal. He saw the criminal in his sight standing waiting for the cops to take him. Shawn walked over to him, he drew the attention on everyone. "How dare you hurt Juliet!" He yelled and punched the guy in the face. "Shawn what was that?" Juliet said. "He hurt you i hurt him" Juliet blushed. Juliet looked down at her hand and released what he ment. "Oh god I should probably"
She said pointing to an ambulance. Shawn watched her walk away. Her eyes turn away and the sun started to set. He and Abigail went back to the police station to find....

Juliet, at her desk thinking of Shawn.

"So you risked your life for a random co-worker" Abigail said, holding onto her jealousy. "Trust me Abby she's anything but random" he said staring at Juliet. "Well I have to go, night babe" Abigail said angrily but Shawn didn't notice. Due to the fact he was thinking about Juliet. "Night Abigail" he said and kissed her cheek and she left. Imediedly he walked to Jules. "Hey Jules how's your hand?" Shawn said sincerely. "Getting better thanks for saving my life Shawn" Jules said smiling. "I didn't save your life" shawn said. Juliet raised her eyebrow in disbelief " are you kidding?! You saved me from getting stabbed not to menchen you punched the guy that tried to hurt me. Abigail is a lucky girl" Juliet said looking at Shawn sincerely not only because he saved her life but because she couldn't look away. The smell of axe made her nose cringe. She had taken of her jacket, revealing her arms. Shawn cupped Juliet's face with his hands, this sending shivers down her spine. " I did because I care about you, I couldn't live with myself if I watched someone hurt you in any way. Jules you are my best friend, well other then Gus but any way. You mean to much to me Jules and I will protect you in any way and every way possible to make sure your safe." Shawn said with the most serious look Jules had ever seen. She just sat there memorized by Shawn's hazel eyes. "Jules" he said grabbing her none hurt hand leaving one hand one her cheek. "Jules?! Are you okay" Shawn said worried. "Oh uh....thank you that means a lot, and for the record I will protect you right back because you mean to much to me to see you hurt either." Juliet said still not looking away from Shawn.

Because she couldn't.

They both exited and before she left Shawn kissed Juliet on the cheek and she fell asleep at the thought of Shawn.
