Juliet's POV:
I was already up, making breakfast for me and Shawn. I was making waffles, his favourite. I chopped some pineapple , of course. I set the table, put the plates down, set up napkins forks and knives. I tried to be as quiet as I can, being sure not to wake Shawn. After the incident we had he didn't want me alone but I had my gun at ready and I wasn't worried. I heard creaking, I grasped my gun. I turned the corner only to see shawn in his boxers. I was wearing his shirt so it made sense. "Babe it's only me" he said putting his arms up. "Okay I won't shut if you do what I say" I said back "what is it?" He smirked. "Give me a kiss! Now!" I said like a order. "Well im can't disobey a order can I" he said then kissed me passionately. "Thanks you" I said and then continued making breakfast. "You made breakfast" he said throwing his arms around my waist and putting his head in the crook of my neck. "Yes I did now sit" I said poking his rib cage. I gave him a plate and we enjoyed our breakfast. Until I got a call "hello" i answered "O'hara" lassie said to me. I know I shouldn't call it lassie but it's funny "your taking a personal day and that's a order bye" he said and hung up. "Who was it" Shawn asked picking up some pineapple. "Lassiter he told me to take a personal day" I said smiling. All of a sudden my window shattered and there was a gun shot. "JULES" I heard Shawn yell, I grabbed my gun. I ran out side. I was being fired at, someone shot one bullet. Shawn ran in front of me. The bullet hit his arm not his chest, I would've hit my chest if he haven't put his arm there. "Shawn" I screamed in horror. I took out my phone a dialed 9-1-1 "hello yes my boyfriends been shot in the arm please come quick, 4578 Elgorila way" I said helping Shawn. Lassiter arrived with everyone. "What happened O'hara are you okay and were the hell is Shawn's pants and why the hell are you wearing his shirt" lassie said to me. "I was being shot at the bullet was going to hit me in the chest Shawn ran out stuck his arm in front of my chest and saved my life" I said crying. "Answer my second question" lassie asked. "Look lassie, me and Juliet are together ok. I know you don't like it but your going to have to deal with the fact that this woman is the girl I love!" Shawn said. I smiled and the ambulance got here. "We don't have time to take him he has lost to much blood we must perform in the ambulance" a paramedic said to me. "Ok just please help
him" I said. "Oh and by the way if he doesn't make it I'm available" he said a shot my a wink. I had had enough, I punched him. "Geez girl what are you a cop?" He said "yeah I'm the head detectives partner no get the fuck out of her or I will kick you to!" I said and he ran. "15 minutes later Shawn walked out of the ambulance with his arm bandaged. "Shawn!" I said running to him. "Jules your okay" he said. "I'm fine" I said. "Okay I'm going to say this before I change my mind. Very one was standing with us, the chief, lassie Henry and Gus. "What is it" I said worriedly. "We need to break up because I'm putting you in danger and I told you I couldn't live with myself if someone hurt you, Jules I love you so fuckin much I really mean it but this time was to close and I'm sorry baby girl but I have to do this" he said sadly. "Shawn.... I love you but we'll find this guy and we will be okay" I said. "Jules this is for your safety, I love you baby" he said and kissed my forehead."wait Shawn your shirt" I said "keep it" he said and walked away. I cried and he watched as he left. I knew this hurt him and it hurt me a lot to. I can't believe this is happening. I got him then I lost him.
