Narrator: One Morning, Sir Topham Hatt had entered tidmouth sheds as everyone was assigned their jobs, Donald was leaving on James' right side as Sir Topham Hatt looked to James for his assigned James today.

Sir Topham Hatt: James, You are to collect some vans of candy to the Chocolate factory and take tankers of milk to the docks. Then you need to take some water tankers to the fire department so they can fill their water supply. They all are important so please take them one at a time, I don't want you to take them all.

James: Yes Sir.. But why is it me? I forget sometimes and Alex can haul of that. So why not him? He is truly stronger than me.

Sir Topham Hatt: He is assigned his own job by me, You can't change that. And if you decide not to do it, I can change your colors and put it that way if you want too. Do you understand all of that james?

James: ...! Okay sir, Sorry sir. Take water to fire department, Candy vans to chocolate factory and Milk tankers to the docks.

Sir Topham Hatt: Meet Happ in the yard for your trains.

Narrator: Soon, James left the sheds and met Happ at the Knapford yards where Happ seems to have finished his train for james.

James: Oh, This is my train? Doesn't look heavy.

Happ: Well Sir Topham said one at a time, So I recommend it.

James: Fine fine. I will do it sir.

Narrator: James was soon coupled up to his train of water tankers and soon he took his train of water to the fire department, Then he went to the dairy and took the milk tankers to the docks with ease however he didn't know the coupling was weak and it snapped. The tankers rolled on their own but James heard nothing, Thomas saw the tankers and tried to warn James.

Thomas: James! James! You're train! It's rolling!

Kate: Move over! This is not good!

Narrator: But james was too busy he didn't hear. Thomas soon blew his whistle as James whistled back for a hello. But the whistle was for the tankers to be on a siding, Where thomas sighed in relief. Percy rolled up to see James rolling past and the tankers on the siding.

Percy: Oh dear, He will be in trouble when they hear about this that he forget..

Thomas: What a blithering idiot. He didn't even notice his milk train was rolling away from him.

Percy: Can't wait to hear this afterwards.

Kate: A good old yell would get him to wake up.

Narrator: Soon, James took his tankers to the docks, However they noticed that there was only half of the milk tankers that was loaded but James took the candy train and they tried to stop him but he was gone.

Salty: Oh dear. That fella would be trouble.

James: This is so easy. Nothing is ever too hard. These are softies besides hauling goods.

Narrator: James soon carried on with his candy vans. Suddenly another coupling snapped and the vans rolled into the siding where it was with the milk tankers james forgotten about, James then arrived at the candy factory with half of his train, The manager noticed something was not right at all.

Manager: You're James right? The one with the candy vans?

James: Yes, This is the last thing. Right, Now im done.

Manager: No you're not, We got to unload but there is no Chocolate vans behind you. We can't unload with little chocolate!

James: My vans of Chocolate are behind- Oh no. How did it uncouple!? I didn't hear a snap or anything!

Manager: You better go back and find them, I don't want a report of we had half of our chocolates because you became forgetful again.

James: Oh bother, Everything that goes right suddenly turns wrong!

Narrator: James uncoupled half of the vans, He then quickly rushed back the line where he lost half his train. He looked left and right and soon he found his train of vans of candy and milk tankers in a siding and he sighed.

James: Oh boy, I better hurry fast and deliver. I don't want to get in trouble and have my beautiful red paint changed!

Narrator: James quickly took the other half of his train of vans where he left them at the chocolate factory and then he took his last of the milk tankers to the docks just in time before the ship left with little milk tankers. James sighed in relief and went back to the sheds at night where he looked over at the engines teasing.

Emily: Looks like sometimes James can hear something snap away and not bother.

Toby: That's true, They see things rolling like ghosts!

Alex: The Milk is rolling away! Aaah! Hahaha!

Alicia: Don't want to upset the kids with his coat of paint with words of... 'I left things rolling.'

Douglas: Aye, I think that fits James perfectly.

Thomas: Wouldn't want the train to keep on rolling... huh? Am I right?

Narrator: James did feel silly and angry at himself but he never said a word about that day he had, A lesson to be learned. When you remember your jobs duties and someone tries to warn you, Don't forget about them or ignore them..
