S1 E1: New Beginnings.

Narrator: After the little incident that happened earlier at the sheds. Alex and Thomas went down to the area of shunting and goods.

Thomas: Yeah, It is a long route. But here it is fine. Considering it is right here. It's a long run but its worth it in the end.

Alex: So you might show me Mickey and Joey?

Thomas: Yeah. Here we are.

Mickey: Oh hello thomas. Who's this? Is he legal to be here?

Alex: I was purchased just yesterday.

Joey: Oh okay, Welcome to sodor. Im joey, He's mickey. We are the police force to keep check and we have a few rules to go over.

Alex: Just make the very important ones count.

Joey: Okay, Speeding is fine unless you see me or Mickey, Whistle for signaling, No cutting off engines, Don't be too close to trains unless your helping, Give way to the fire department and no running through stop signs.

Alex: Okay, That can work out.

Mickey: So were clear all of that?

Alex: Yes. All of you two.

Joey: Failure in this can result in railgate which is jail. Do not break these kinds of rules.

Alex: I will, I promise I won't do much damage.

Joey: Good, Your alright to go then.

Alex: Thank you.

Narrator: They soon arrived at the shunting yards. As it looked to be cleaned up pretty good.

Alex: Alrighty, Doesn't look packed... Am I seeing it right?

Narrator: As soon as they arrived at the Knapford Shunting yard. They saw a 0-6-0 Caledonian Railway 652 class locomotive shunting some empty trucks into a siding gently as he kept puffing around. He had white paint with a N.W.R number 901 on his tender.

Thomas: Ah! Here he is! Hello Happ!

Alex: This is Happ? He's pretty cool.

Happ: Thank you, You might be Alex correct? The one with the Goods train to transport goods?

Alex: Yes, That is me. Do you need help?

Happ: Yeah, That would be great. Come on.

Narrator: Soon, The three of them got working together and soon Happ's long stressful work turned into some ease as he began taking trains done, Soon the long line was done and it was completed.

Alex: Alrighty, Big train set for Wellsworth. This might be a piece of cake.

Thomas: Good luck with your train Alex! I hope you go safe.

Alex: I will thomas! I will be careful.

Narrator: And soon, Alex left the place with his long train of vans, Empty cars and some Milk tankers as he passed through stations without having a single issue at all. Back with Gordon guiding alicia where to go.

Meanwhile with Gordon and Alicia

Alicia: Huh, So this is my original station for the express... Knapford. It's pretty big.

Gordon: Yes, As pulling the express. You're always at number #1. So you start at Knapford then you go past Crosby then stop at Wellsworth then you pass Maron, Cronk and Killdane. Then stop at Crovan's gate. Then you're final stop is at Vicarstown where the train to london goes too. A bit too long to know but you will memorize it overtime.

Alicia: Yeah, That sounds pretty long for me. It sounds like you have to get my driver to note it down to know when to slow down at what station. I believe that is a long way to go considering how it works.

Gordon: So you Alicia, You are gonna run your express through those train lines. 

Alicia: Okay...?

Gordon: I would want to be careful on my hill, If you can't start, You got to wait for help.

Alicia: Oh dear. Thats not good.

Gordon: I have plenty of times where I got stuck on my hill.  It's not common considering I mistaken it a lot.

Alicia: Okay Gordon, I guess I should focus and be cautious on the hill.

Gordon: Good, And please stay on this line. Jumping onto other lines is not good and causes accidents so always blow your whistle. The signalmen knows so you can be ready for sticking on your own line.

Alicia: Alright, I got it. Anything else I need to know about?

Gordon: That's it. I'll see how you do it tomorrow. You can rest at the sheds with Alex tonight.

Alicia: Thanks Gordon. I'll try to memorize. It would be amazing if I manage to get it all first try.

Gordon: Just be aware you are not the only one. Right, Once alex comes back we can all rest and take a break and do it all tomorrow. Make sure of it too. Cause when it comes all said and done. It's all in.

Alicia: Okay...?

Reginald: Hello Gordon and whos this pretty girl? Your new girlfriend?

Alicia: I already have a boyfriend you know, Who are you suppose to be? A funny looking express engine?

Reginald: Oh, I apologize. I'm reginald. Nice to meet you.

Alicia: I'm Alicia, Mixed engine with kind heart unless they be aggressive to me, I will show it back.

Gordon: Well thats one way to explain.

Reginald: Well, See you later. You have to get the coaches from the yard.

Alicia: Okay, The yard though?

Gordon: Well If i were you, I would probably wait for a tank engine to shunt your coaches?

Alicia: Why? I shunt my own coaches.

Gordon: We don't shunt. Thank you ver-

Alicia: Listen here you  big blue talker. If I shunt my coaches. I do it. You don't tell me how I shunt my coaches. So do yourself a favor. Shut up about it. And keep it like that.

Reginald: ... Guard, Can you blow the whistle now?

Narrator: Reginald's guard blew his whistle and waved the green flag, He soon left the station in shock and without another word.

Gordon: ...Now I see why James took notes. I am getting it too.

Alicia: Good. Now keep it that way.

Gordon: ...

Later at night during tidmouth sheds.

James: Wow Gordon. I guess she got you too.

Gordon: Yep.

Reginald: I don't know about her.

Alex: Good, Like I said. Don't mess with my girlfriend. Or else. You do get a level you have never seen her on.

James: Why are you even in love with her?

Samantha: Yeah. Why though?

Alicia: We can be in love if we feel like it. You can't change it from us. But that warning is coming. If you decide to trigger it more.

Thomas: Probably I would keep it the way if I were you Gordon, Reginald and James.

Narrator: That was the way Gordon and James kept it, That was a deal they made to themselves. Never make Alicia or Alex angry or order them around. And that is how it was for everyone else too as they had a long day to show the two around.
