It was quidditch tryout day, and Harry was nervous. Draco had decided not to try out this year, thinking neither he or Harry would get on since they were only second years. They were in The Great Hall eating breakfast. It was a bit later since it was a Saturday.
Blaise took a bite of his eggs as he turned to Harry.
"So, are you ready for today?" Blaise asked with a smile
Harry looked up from the oatmeal he had been pretty much ignoring and just playing with.
"Yeah I am, just a bit nervous." He said softly. "I might get a stomach soother from my mom before I try out."
Pansy snorted a bit. "Dude, throwing up requires you to eat something. I don't know what a stomach soother is going to do." She said rather rudely
Blaise glared at her. "Pansy just shut it! Don't you have girl things to be doing, like fixing that face of yours?" He said rather harshlyPansy just glared at Blaise before storming off.
Draco and Theo both started laughing.
Marcus looked down at them with a smirk. "Get her Blaise. Good guard dog." He teased with a laugh
Blaise blushed a bit and smiled. "What? She was being mean, and besides, have you seen her makeup lately? It's terrible."
A couple of the boys laughed before going back to eating their breakfast. Soon, everybody was done, and they made it back to the common room. Harry changed into some different clothes that he could get dirty and the boys walked to Severus's quarters so they could grab Harry's broom.
Severus was just leaving his quarters, with Harry's broom when he ran into the boys.
"Ahh they you are, I was just about to come find you so I could give you your broom Harry. Good luck out there. I'll be at tryouts since I am your head of house, but I don't have much say on who gets in." He said and handed Harry his broom
Harry grabbed it and nodded as his father talked. "Okay, um, could I maybe have some stomach soother? I feel kinda nervous." He said quietly. When Harry got nervous his stomach would get upset. Usual stomach soother was the better solution than calming draught, since a calming draught could sometimes take Harry a bit out of it.
Severus nodded, pulling out a stomach soother from his pocket. He had a feeling Harry would need one. He handed it to his son with a smile.
"Drink all of that okay?" Severus said gently.
Harry took the small bottle and nodded, quickly swallowing down the stomach soother. He hoped it would kick in soon. He didn't say anything as they started making their way to the quidditch field. Once they got there Harry made his way to the field while the others went to go sit in the stands and watch.
Tryouts soon started, Severus was watching, occasionally chatting with the boys as they talked. He was happy Draco and Harry had such good friends. It was hard for him to make friends, and glad his boys were more social than he was in school. He looked around the stands, curious to see if any other houses came out to watch. He frowned just a small bit when he saw Ginny Weasley sitting and watching tryouts. He knew the girl had a bit of a crush on Harry, but he thought it had been dealt with by Fred and George.
Harry on the other hand wasn't even focused on who was watching. He was focused on his tryouts. He thought it was going pretty well. Marcus was trying him out as a seeker at the moment, and Harry felt like he was doing a good job. He had caught the snitch a few times, and now they were playing a small pick up game with some people in different positions, but Harry stayed as the seeker.
Soon, tryouts were over, and Marucs said he would have the decisions by the end of the week. Harry smiled and made his way to his friends and his mom, as they were waiting for him down on the field.
Seveurs smiled as his son approached. "So, how did it go? You looked pretty good out there." He said with a smile, chuckling when all the other boys agreed.
Harry smiled. "I think it went well. Marcus said he would have his decisions by the end of the week."
Harry was about to continue on, when Ginny approached them.
"You did such a good job out there Harry! I bet your real father would be proud. His name is on the Gryffindor quidditch cups after all." She said with a small smile
Before Harry could even get in a word, Severus started talking, and the man was fuming.
"Miss Weasley, I suggest you walk away before I change my mind and assign you a whole year's worth of detentions with Mr.Filch. A month's detention with him as well as 100 points from Gryffindor. Mr.Malfoy does not appreciate when people speak to him like that. I suggest you go away now, Miss Weasley." Severus said in a rather angry tone and watched as the girl ran off. He then turned to Harry.
"Harry, I want you to know that I am incredibly proud of you. You papa and dad are as well. That goes for you too Draco. Don't let anybody tell either of you differently. Now please excuse me, I need to have a chat with your fathers, and then the headmaster." He said and walked off.
Harry turned to his friends and shifted on his feet a bit. It felt bad. Why did people always have to bring up the fact that his parents weren't his real parents? He didn't even know or remember James and Lily. He only knew of his parents. The ones who raised him and cared for him and loved him. Lucius, Tom, and Severus.
"I'm gonna go change out of my clothes, meet you in the common room." He said before quickly walking off.
Draco stopped Blaise from going after Harry. "Just let him have a minute to himself." He said softly. "I have no doubt my mother is telling my papa and dad what just happened, and the headmaster is about to get an earful from all three of them. Let Harry process, and then let him go see Remus if he needs to."
Blaise frowned a bit and nodded. "Okay Draco." He said softly. He was not happy that he had to leave Harry alone.
Meanwhile, Severus had told his husbands what had happened, and Dumbledore very much was getting an earful about what needed to be done. They wanted Molly to come and punish her child. Harry didn't need people spouting things off like that. He disliked when people talked about James and Lily, because he felt guilty about their deaths, when the poor kid had nothing to do with it. All three men were very upset, and they knew Harry was probably upset as well.
Harry had gone to talk to Remus, tha man had always made him feel better, especially because he gave Harry chocolate. Sometimes, Harry would even talk to Remus about his biological parents. Apparently James had been a very good quidditch seeker, and had won Gryffindor many quidditch cups. Remus also told Harry that if he ever wanted to visit his parents' graves, that his parents would be happy to take him to visit, but Harry didn't want to do that right now.
Harry left Remus's office feeling much better. He spent the rest of the day with Draco and his parents because he wanted some hugs from his dad. Sunday was uneventful, and Harry felt like the school week dragged on as he waited for Marcus's decision on who was going to be on the quidditch team. Finally, on Friday afternoon Marcus posted his results, and Harry celebrated with Draco and his friends because he got the seeker positions. His parents were very happy as well
