How the fuck did he find out I like that? Shit. Praying, hoping to God he doesn't find out about the other stuff. I'll be even more of a goner.

Hitoshi throws open the door and sets my stuff down by the counter. He grabs my hand and holds me closer for a while. Immense mood change from what he was just doing.

"Are you okay?" I nod and look up at him.

"Yeah, why wouldn't I be?" He lets out a huge sigh of relief.

"That's good. I was just checking." Something happened.

"What happened?"He looks down at me.

"Nothing... why?"

"Cause you're acting really sus right now." He shakes his head with an absolutely suspicious ass smile.

"Nope! Everything's fine! Promise. :)" I sigh and remove myself from him.

"What happened love?" He sighs, not out of relief but stress.

"What does Jade look like?" Anxiety spikes in my stomach.

"W-why do you wanna know?" He kisses my forehead.

"So I know for the future if I see her before you." I nod and take a deep breath.

"She has, well last time I saw her, medium-length brown hair but the ends are broken or something from bleach. Umm, she has a nose ring. She's like kinda my height. That's all I remember..." he nods and kisses me softly again.

"Thank you for telling me, love. Wanna go lay down?" I nod as he squats down before picking me up and walking into my bedroom.

"You saw her didn't you?" He seems caught off guard.

"I'll tell you everything soon. Let's get settled first yeah?" I huff and nod, looking around for something to keep me busy with. I see my fidget cube and immediately grab it. I toss it in the air and catch it repeatedly as Hitoshi gets comfy clothes for me.

"Please just tell me." He looks over and nods, handing me sweatpants.

"Put these on." I huff and tug my jeans down and put them on.

"Tell me." He sits down and motions for me to do the same. At this point, I'm getting angry. I sit down and huff again.

"Yes. I think I did see Jade." I flinch. "That's why I was kinda rushing to get home. And I'm pretty sure she followed us back. That's why you're staying here." I nod and look away. I feel my eyes sting with water.

"Can we lay down?" Hitoshi nods and lays down, opening his arm for me to lay in. I come over and shove my body in his. I take a deep breath and will the tears not to fall. He slowly rubs my back, making the stupid tears I tried to not let come out rush out of my eyes.

"I've got you, baby, don't worry. I'm here." That sentence alone makes all the stupid fucking tears come out in one big gross ugly anxiety attack. I know it's not a panic attack cause there's no panic; it's just gut-wrenching, nausea-inducing, leg shaking, heart breaking anxiety. I fucking hate this. There's stupid knocks on the stupid door and it's stupid that Hitoshi has to get up to answer it. Everything is fucking stupid. I sigh and he chuckles. "I'll be right back lovely." He kisses my forehead and leaves. I snuggle into the blanket when I hear Koyka's voice. I spring up and go running straight into her.

"Woah, what's wrong?" I squeeze her tighter while her arms come to cover me.

"Ummm, Jade followed us to our dorms. And yeah, she goes here now." Hitoshi's voice cuts through while I hear Koyka's breathing cut off.
