You all must be wondering how this book club works. Well, beautiful gems, allow us to explain!
- Each rotation lasts TWO weeks and end at 5 PM (GMT+10 - AEDT) We will be sending out a 48 hour reminder for those who are yet to complete their yet.
- Each group will consist of THREE members. You must read FIVE chapters of each person's book. You must leave a 6+ sentence outline for each chapter AND at least 3 inline comments. You MUST use the tag #SBC
- Next to your name, you will use one of the "key" words (This will be explained later on) and report what book + what chapters you read so it can be checked by the head admin or her moderators.
- There will be a book of the fortnight which all members must read one chapter of and leave a 5+ sentence out line and at least 2 inline comments.
- In total each member will be reading 11 chapters in the two week (5 chapters for each of your team mates plus the 1 chapter for Book Of The fortnight)

What is book of the fortnight?
Book of the fortnight is a book that we choose at random. You can get chosen for providing helpful comments or completing your assignments on time.
I can't complete my assignment on time, what do i do?
You must inform us at least 24 hours before the deadline otherwise you will receive a strike. You will need to use the 'Serenity Extension' key next to your name so we know. While you are under an extension you will not be grouped until you complete the assignment.
What are the keys and what do they mean?
At the beginning of each rotation we will remind you all of the keys and what they are but you will use these when report in.
- Use 'Serenity' when you have completed the assignment and want to be regrouped next rotation.
- Use 'Serenity Gemstones' when you have completed the assignment and yourself and your group have decided to be repaired for a permanent pairing until you complete each other's books.
- Use 'Serenity Onyx' when you have completed the assignment and want to leave the bookclub.
- Use 'Serenity Extension' when you think you cannot finish on time and require an extension. You will not be regrouped until you finish the previous assignment.
How many strikes will I need before I get kicked out of the book club?
We will give you a total of 3 strikes and on the 4th we will kick you out. You will receive ONE strike when you do not complete your assignment and if you continue not doing the assignments they will build up.
I wish to swap a book I have in the book club to another one, what should I do?
In the form section there will be a 'Book Swap' form. You will fill that out and then we shall change the book on the next update/rotation.
