The day passed quickly. There was a lot of gossip and rumours about Dream and Techno's relationship, but Dream had quickly confirmed that they were in a relationship.
Before he knew it, it was the next day and Techno would be facing his nemesis. His enemy. His love.
Dream and Techno had both agreed to put their feelings aside and play fair, for not only their sake, but their team's.
"Ready?" Wilbur had walked over to where Techno stood on the floating platform.
"Ready as I'll ever be, I guess."
"No. Not I guess. We need to be confident."
"Wil, if we win, Dream practically loses his kingdom."
"I doubt that. I don't think dad's gonna let his future son-in-law's home kingdom burn to ashes." The brothers shared a soft chuckle as they were teleported to the Dodgebolt court.
"Hey Big T! Y'want the arrows?"
"I don't mind Tommy, but if you're shooting, don't miss." Tommy nodded as Techno faced the other team. Dream was straight in front of him. The advantage he had over his boyfriend though, was that Techno wasn't going to get distracted by his cute face.
Dream on the other hand, probably would.
"ARE. WE. READY?!" The speaker boomed, followed by a scatter of cheers from the crowd.
"3!"
Here we go.
"2!"
Just win. That's all.
"1!"
Dream. Is. Not. Your. Fucking. Boyfriend. You. Need. To. Focus. He. Is. Your. Enemy...For now.
"BEGIN!"
Arrows spawned in the center of their side of the court. Tommy grabbed them. Techno, Wil and Fundy jumped around, trying their best not to get shot by Sapnap.
"BOOM! KARL'S OUT!" I guess Big Man knows what he's doin'
The other arrow misses and another two spawned on the other team's side of the court. Sapnap grabbed them.
"BOOM! FUNDY'S OUT!" Welp.
The sides of the court disappear, revealing the popping lava underneath.
"Whoa!" Tommy almost falls off, just managing to gain his balance in time.
"Don't you fucking fall." The child puts his hands up in mock defence.
Sapnap misses his second arrow, and two more spawn on their side. Wil grabs them this time.
Please don't miss. Please don't miss.
"BOOM! GEORGE'S OUT!" YES!
Of course, Wil misses the second one, so it's the other team's turn. George grabs the arrows this time. Huh, their saving the best for last.
"BOOM! TOMMY'S OUT!" Arrogant child, he wasn't even jumping.
The same repeats and Sapnap shoots next.
"Wil no--"
"BOOM! WILBUR'S OUT!" Here we go.
Sapnap misses and Techno grabs his arrows. Just shoot one of 'em, not hard. Bandana boy seems distracted so...
"BOOM! SAPNAP'S OUT!" Just me and bae left.
"Ready to lose?" Dream yells as he grabs his arrows.
"Don't be so sure!"
He takes his time to aim. Techno jumps about. Just keep jumping, just keep jumping. Dream still takes his sweet time to aim. Oh my lord just--
"BOOM! TECHNO'S OUT!"
And they won. Dream SMP, won. They'd get their peace treaty. MCC would end for the year. Everyone would go home.
Everyone would go home...
