She sat on the tree

She sat on the tree. It was early in the morning, the sun hasn't yet made itself present as the blue hue of the park set still like the bottom of the ocean. For her, it was the perfect place to be mourning.

Mourning for herself.

Mourning for what's going to happen.

Mourning for what happened.

Oh, Nahoya. She thought. How did I turn from wanting to save every even if it hurts me, to someone who wants to go back to where she once were?

The pain that she felt before still lingered. A deadly reminder that she had to fix what she has done before it's too late.

This day tonight will be the time where Kisaki will betray Takemitchi.

She keeps praying, you know, for one hint that he would change. Change for her, at least.

Her phone ringed.

"Hello?"

"Hey Y/n! What's up!"

"Emma!" She sat up from her tree, almost falling down. "What a surprise!"

"You're surprised that I called you? How miserable are you right now?"

Her face turned with a look of surprised and expectancy.

"I..." She looked around. "hehe..."

"Well," She sighed. "Get your depressed ass out of the gutter and meet me at the park."

Her eyes widened. "What a coincidence, I'm also at the park!"

"Well--!"

There was a few moments of pause, before she started to hear footsteps coming closer to her area, and before she could process what's happening, Emma surprised her by jumping in front of her tree.

"Y/n!"

"Emma!"

She jumped out of the tree and hugged the other girl, slightly pulling her body above ground and swung her around a big side to side.

She brought Emma down. "Holy shit, what's happening. Why did you called in the first place?"

"Couldn't I just call you just because I wanted to talk to my favorite girl friend?" Emma placed her hands on her hips. Her eyes wandered behind her. "Don't tell Yuzuha that."

"No, but seriously." She chuckled.

"Well..." Emma dragged out. "Mikey told me that Baji is finally okay for visitors."

Her eyes widened. "Really?"

"Yeah," She nodded. "He still seems really weak though, he cannot move a single arm or anything."

"The boy got stabbed, give him a break."

"He wouldn't have been talking to us now if it wasn't for the fact you've saved him, Y/n," Emma closed her eyes. "Thank you."
