Chapter 11: He who plays the ball

Sakusa was sleeping right next to Atsumu who is still in a sleeping state, he was sitting down, and holding Atsumu's hands so dearly, afraid that something will happen again if he ever lets go.

A second later, Atsumu's hands suddenly moved as if being a sign that he soon will wake up.

He didn't fail as he then opened his eyes slowly, still adjusting to the lighting in the room, though it was dim, since Sakusa knew that Atsumu never like to sleep with the lights on.

He looked to the right and saw Sakusa sleeping and holding his hand tight.

He knows it, he shouldn't have pushed himself. He was taken a back at what Osamu said to him, and the important thing that they talked about.

"About that, the reason I called you here is that I have to tell you something, you remembered what mom and dad said to us right?" Osamu said and looked at Rin who was sleeping on the sofa and the both of them huddled up in the floor carpet.

"What did they tell us?" Atsumu asked indefinitely.

"About our family secret" Osamu said deepening those words.

Atsumu looked at Rin and sigh.

"It's already those time of the season, did you tell Sakusa yet?" Osamu asked.

"I didn't, if I did, I don't know if he'll still stay with me" Atsumu said and tears was already building up, but he held it back.

"Tsumu, our family, our clan, comes from a long way of male offsprings, even us. For a dominant lineage of male, it is to no occurence that you will have a very hard time conceiving children, I was left with the responsibility to uphold the Miya clan, I thought I have no problems with having children, since Rin is my bearer, but look at my messed up situation." Osamu said looking at Rin, with lifeless eyes.

"Tsumu, if you guys want to have kids you gotta take care of yourself, and Sakusa needs to know as well. Mom and Dad warned us that if a male from our clan ever gets to be a bearer, he will develop that disease." Osamu said, that made Atsumu gulped and put his hands on his face.

"I know that Samu, but, I.. can't live a life without a family of my own, Omi wants to have kids, I've asked him, and he wanted to have one. I'm also scared, the probability of having a male pregnant in our clan succeeds is just 12 percent, 12 fucking percent, and uncle Sachiko is the only one that gave birth and still lived throughout it" Atsumu said, now in a depressing point.

"I also, suspect that... You're already pregnant Tsumu, I got paranoid as well, Rin saw through the signs" Osamu said honestly, where Atsumu nervously looked at him.

"The first trimester of pregnancy is showing up on you, we're still not sure, you need to have a check up" Osamu said determined.

"I'm scared Samu, I-I don't want this situation, I've tried everything I can to be dominant with things, I even tried to console my self in forgetting about Omi, but, I love him too much to think about this situation, and I know, they'll come a time that we need to have children as well, I'm not scared, that I might die if I can give Omi a child, I'm scared that, if he knew, he might want to leave me or sacrifice the child that we should be cherishing, he.. he might leave me if I can't give him a child" Atsumu said now failing to hide his tears and broke down.
Osamu rubbed Atsumu's back and hugged him.

They waited for a few moments until Atsumu calmed down.

"Hey, just do what you guys want, if you want to have children, I will support you, we'll ask for help from uncle Sachi and uncle Shohei, don't worry too much about it, and if you're really pregnant right now, worrying, is not good for my nephew or niece" Osamu said touching Atsumu's belly where they both just chuckled at.
