Chapter 12: He who plays the ball pt.2

Tsukishima's POV

"Tsukki.. Are you free on Saturday?" Tadashi suddenly asked while we were eating dinner together.

"Why? We have volleyball practice that day" I said plainly.

"I need to buy some materials for our project, and there's a lot of them, I was hoping if you could help me out to carry some" Tadashi said grinning at me.

"I'll see if I have some free time" I said normally looking at my platter.

"Okay.. I'll just call you after I'm done buying stuff.. Anyways, there's also one more thing to request" He said. I stopped munching on my food and looked at him.

"Since.. Hiro wanted to really meet you, we decided to make our project on Sunday, here?" Tadashi asked sheepishly.

"Here?" I asked inattentively.

"Y-yeah? It's okay if you don't want to, I know that sundays are your review and rest day" He said.

I sigh, thinking back.. That Hiro is really making a name on my getting in the nerves list.

"Just don't be too loud" I said and continued to eat.

"Ye-yes! Of course, thanks Tsukki" Tadashi excitedly said.

"Looks like you and Hiro tend to hang out a lot, what company is he going after graduation?" I asked skeptically.

"He's my buddy, of course we hang out all the time, and he's going to the same company as me, we actually submitted our portfolio together" Tadashi said plainly.

"Hehh.. That's sounds interesting" I said, with a hint of sarcasm.
This time Tadashi raised and eyebrow and looked at me. But I just continued to eat normally.

"You... Aren't implying anything right?" Tadashi asked and leaned his face to mine.

"Of course not, not that it bothers me that you guys chat every night, and then stopped giving me husband attention, Oh, and I wouldn't imply anything if only Hiro isn't the only person I hear when there's a mention of friends, and the only name I hear when there are group activities, and then, my husband wouldn't even look that upright and happy when talking about me, but when talking about his 'friend' he gets all excited and giddy, so yeah.. I'm not implying anything at all!" I said, I didn't even realize that I already cut the beef, but I still keep on going, that the whole plate broke because of that.

Both of us were shocked and went quiet for a bit.

"Ts-tsukki.. " Tadashi said concernly.

"Are you okay?!" He asked and came to me immediately to check my hands.

"I'm fine.. I'll just brush my teeth then" I said and was about to stand up when he held me in the shoulders.

"Hmm. Hahaha, are you jealous right now Kei?" Tadashi asked that it made me look at him. Embarassed and tongue tied. He even dared to call me by my first name.

"You're blushing.. I can't believe it" Tadashi said and kept laughing.

He then sat on my lap and enclosed my neck with his hands.

"Listen.. Hiro is just my friend" he then kissed me.. "Besides.. He has a girlfriend, and they're planning to get married soon, he's asking me what a married life feels like" he said and kissed me again. "And, he is a fan of you, Tsukki.. He lives at Sendai Tohoku, and when he found out that you play volleyball at Sendai frogs, he really wanted to meet you, since.. He's seen all of your matches" Tadashi said and kissed me again.

I rolled my eyes and looked at the side.
"That's why.. Don't get jealous anymore, you're my husband Tsukki, Hiro is just a friend, and I'll give you attention if you want too, but.. You're just too stressed right now, with exams and practice coming, I'm afraid I'll just exploit your free time" Tadashi said now smiling at me.
