Hello Again

Sorry I havent updated in a while. I'll try to update more. Enjoy chapter 3!

"Jodi help!" My brother screams my name as he sinks further into the ocean, "Jodi!"

I gasp awake, tears strolling down my eyes. My body is shaking with fear, guilt, and sadness. "I-I-I tried Carter." I sob into my pillow. "I tried...I really did."

I turn over to see my alarm clock. My alarm is suppose to beep in five minutes. I climb out of bed and took a quick hot shower, then put on my cloths. I put my flip flops on and walk out the door to my first class of the day.

I walk into the air conditioned room and take a seat in the middle of the room. There were about twenty people in the class right now, but I didn't know them and I don't want to know them. I sigh, Alex or any of my friends are not in this class so I have to sit here like a loser, like I am. I pull my phone out and start to act like I'm texting someone, gosh I need friends.

I hear someone walk through the door, I look up and gasp. I drop my phone onto the floor and I quickly pick it up. I groan when I realize it cracked. I look up again to see if the one person I hope didn't see me saw me.

But of course, Chase...Or was it Chad was looking straight at me, a spark in his blue eyes and a smirk on his face. When I made eye contact with him I feel my hands tremble and turn moist. I wipe them on my jean denim shorts and try to act casual as he walks to the seat next to me.

I watch him from the corner of my eye as he slumps down into the chair. It's awkwardly silent between us, should I try to start a conversation or? Before I could do anything he turns to me,

"Hey."

"Hi." I say back too quickly for my liking, gosh why am I so weird?

It's awkwardly silent again. I hear other people talking casually about the beach, I should talk about something related to the beach.
"So this weather, am I right!" I tell the guy, saying this too loudly. Instantly I groan inwardly. What the hell did I say?

"Yeah... Pretty chill," I look over to seeing him saying this. I look into his eyes, they were so blue, "So anyway, have I met you before?"

I feel my face burning up, "Uh well ye-no well kinda maybe?" He instantly smirks again and his eyes show a glint of amusement.

"I knew it, you are the girl that punched me aren't you!"

"What no I didn't mean to punch you I just-" I start to ramble on, he cuts me off,

"Yup, it is you! Your names like Jamie-"

"Jodi" I cut him off.

"Yeah whatever, I just came over cause I wanted to tell you that I got a hospital bill two days ago, which means you didn't pay my bill." He states annoyed.

"Oh I was gonna pay it it's just that I-" I get cut off by the professor,

"Good morning class," everyone grumbles a good morning to him. I turn over to Chase/Chad and whisper a "sorry." He rolls his eyes, takes out a notebook, and starts taking notes. I huff out a breath and copy his actions. I hate this class.
