[Y'all are probably angry with me. I'm sorry!
Fact: I really love Kendrick Lamar, Justin Bieber and 1D!]

Kara’s POV
“You love me?” was all I could stutter.
“Yes,” he said. “I’ve been meaning to tell you, but I didn’t have the courage to do so.”
Then, he leaned in and kissed me. Two kisses from two different boys in two days? This just got way intense. OMG. And I actually liked it. Oh, God, I don’t know what to do. He pulled back, and there was a goofy little grin on his face. Thankfully for me, his phone rang. I only heard his side of the conversation.
“Yes? Right now? Alright, I’ll be there soon… Yes, I’ll be alone… Okay… Bye…”
He turned to me apologetically. “I have to go. See you around.” He got up and left and I banged my head on the table. This would normally be the time I would call Liam, but since we were no longer best friends, I called the next best person: my older half-sister, Marilynn.
“Kara? I haven’t heard from you in a long time!” she blasted into my ear. “Why haven’t you called? I’ve been worried sick. Martha told not to worry, but I didn’t listen to her!” Martha is my other half-sister.
“Mari,” I said. “Liam came back.”
“Oh. I see. Now, this is one of the times I wish I was actually with you. I’m quitting my scholarship in the States.”
I nearly had a heart attack. “No! Don’t! Besides, that’s not the entire problem. Wait a minute.” I crept into the bathroom of the café and locked myself a washroom stall.
“Spill the beans, sister,” she said sympathetically.
“Liam came back after ignoring me, and he expects me to house him and his four band members. Plus, last night or so, he kissed me!”
I heard Mari scream in the background, and I heard another person scream with her: Martha.
“Am I on speaker?” I asked.
“Don’t be mad.” I could almost see her pout. “Martha wanted to listen.”
“Okay. Um, do you guys remember Kirk?”
“How could we not?” Martha said in disgust.
“Yeah, so he asked me to meet him at the café. And so I got there. He gave me my acceptance letter into Cambridge!” I heard sounds of approval from Mari and Martha. “Then, he said he loved me. And he kissed me. He just left.”
“I’m sorry, what?!” Mari said in her big sister voice. “How dare that tramp put his lips on my baby sister? I’m telling you, Kara, we’re coming back.”
“You bet we are,” Martha agreed with her.
“Kara, are you using the iPhone we gave you for Christmas?” Mari asked.
“Yes.”
“Good. I’m going to send you a Face Time request, so hang up.”
I hardly had time to consent before the call was ended and the Face Time request was sent. I fluffed my hair and accepted it.
“KARA!” Mari and Martha squealed.
They looked as gorgeous as ever. Mari’s blonde hair was held in a high ponytail, and her light green eyes looked brighter than ever. She was wearing a green blouse – from what I could see. Martha’s dark brown hair was in a side braid, and her normally blue eyes were violet. She was obviously happy. She wore a light blue t-shirt. Believe it or not, she and Mari are twins.
“Kara, shouldn’t you be asleep?” Martha asked.
I rolled my eyes. “It’s actually kind of late afternoon here, thank you very much.”
“I’ve missed you so friggin’ much!” Mari said. “I wish we could come to you.”
“I know,” I said sadly. “You two have been my parents since Mom and Dad… You know…”
“It hurts us too,” Martha said. “But we can help you, even though we aren’t biological siblings.”
There was a knock on the door, followed by an angry shout. “COME OUT! SOME OF US ACTUALLY NEED TO GO!”
“Well, we’ll see you later,” Mari said, trying hard to supress a smile.
“Yeah. Later.” Martha giggled and the call ended.
I put the phone in the back pocket of my jeans and exited the stall. There was a very angry looking old lady glaring at me. I politely apologized before leaving the washroom and the café.
Louis’ POV
My phone rang. “They ask me what I do, and who I do it for.”
“Y’ello?” I answered without checking Caller ID.
“Louis, it’s Kirk. I need your help.”
