West Park, Kamurocho
You and the elderly man sat on the fountain. Both having a Smile Burger Meal. "What is your name boy?" The man asked. "Y/N," You replied quietly. "I am Mogui, and I saw a fire in your eyes," Mogui commented.
"A fire?" You repeated, unsure of what he meant. "When you talked about gaining wealth and power. A flame of determination was in your eyes. While small, it is miles brighter than others your age and older," Mogui explained.
"Tell me boy, why do you want money and power?" Mogui asked. You sat there for a second. The declaration of gaining power and wealth were just empty words. Trying to motivate yourself into returning to Sunflower.
Yet, here you are, sitting in the middle of a shantytown. Yumi, she came to mind. You didn't know what to think. You love her, but she forgot about you. The answer came to mind, you want love. That should come with money and power.
"I, want my sister back," You answered. "I want to show everyone that I can be strong," You continued. "Wealth and might is a show of strength. If that is your goal, hone in on it. Make yourself into something great, no matter what," Mogui advised.
"You said you needed a successor? What do you mean by that?" You asked and Mogui's cold eyes gazed at you. "I am the sole practitioner of a martial art. I am getting old, and my time may come whenever. I need assurance that our ways do not die with me," Mogui explained and he finished his meal.
"While clearly weak, you have a burning resolve. You need to shed that weak skin and be reborn into something stronger. I can kill your weakness and help your rebirth," Mogui said as he stood up. "When you're ready, go there and to the Coliseum, we'll begin your training then. Do not take too long," Mogui finished, he pointed to stairs that lead underground.
Mogui stood up and left, leaving you to finish your meal. 'I have to see Yumi-nee,' You thought and left West Park. "Y/N!" Kashiwagi called out as his car pulled up in front of West Park. In the passenger seat is Kazama.
You got in and asked to visit Yumi. "It's too late, visiting hours have ended. You need to head home to Sunflower," Kazama explained and you groaned. While the ride was silent. You thought about your encounter with Mogui.
You needed to get strong, and Yumi might remember you. So the next day, you snuck back to Kamurocho and to where Mogui was waiting.
You were floored by what was underground. It's an entire pleasure street. You saw some women beckoning men. As you walked down the streets. You saw Mogui enter a large door to the left. When you followed him. He turned around to see you.
"Welcome to Purgatory, where you will begin your training," Mogui said gesturing to the Coliseum. "I'm gonna fight?!" You exclaimed in fear. "Soon, but we need to train your body and technique first. We will go deeper into the sewers," Mogui explained and began walking away. You jogged after him.
To many customers of Purgatory. It looked like a grandfather was with his grandson. No one questioned it, despite it being weird a kid as young as you being in Purgatory.

Sewers of Kamurocho
It's nearly been an hour, you've been walking back and forth in the dirty water while squatting. Mogui was watching you quite intently. The goal is to do this for an hour. However, the most you've lasted is fourty minutes. That's about to change.
When Mogui called that's its been an hour. You fell to your hands in knees in sewage. Sweating, dirty, and exhausted, but satisfied at your progress. "You've barely reached an hour and now are vunerable to a killing strike," Mogui criticized and he grabbed you by the hair, forcing you to stand up.
"Now you must last for the hour and still be in fighting shape afterwards. We are done for the day," Mogui said sternly. The two of you left Purgatory and into West Park. Mogui reached into his jacket pocket and handed you a protein bar.
"Eat to help your body grow," Mogui said and you scarfed the thing down. "Thank you, Sir," You said and bowed. Mogui had a faint smile on his face. However, it left the second you looked up. "Let's take you home," Mogui said and he walked with you limping behind him. You both left West Park, ready to get to the taxi. However, you were interrupted.
"There you are!" A familiar voice caused you to freeze. Reina, hands on her hips and facefull of disapproval. "R-R-Reina-san!" You exclaimed nervously, blushing and fidgeting. Mogui looked at Reina, then back to you.
Reina pulled on your ears and began to scold the everloving hell out of you. Before hugging you, not caring about the smell. You melted in Reina's arms. Reina looked at Mogui with a cautious look. "Who are you?" Reina asked with hostility.
"I am Mogui, this boy's Master," Mogui said with his usual sharp stare and cold demeanor. Reina put two and two together. She stopped hugging you. She rubbed her head, like she has a headache. "Has he been doing well?" Reina asked, much to your suprise.
"Hmph, a long way to go, but he is progressing much more quickly than most," Mogui replied. You smiled at your teacher's praise. "I'll bring him back tomorrow," Reina said before leaving with you.
Back at Serena, after you cleaned up and changed your clothes. Reina sat at one of the booths. You sat in front of her. "Sunflower kept worrying about you disappearing. Kazama is having you stay with me. Unlike the other orphans, you aren't happy at Sunflower, but in this city."
"If this something you want, then i'll help you," Reina explained and you babbled incoherently. Stunned that not only that you'll be staying with your crush, and Kazama approved it!
Still, one thing bothered you. "Is Nishiki okay?" You asked and Reina frowned. "He's going through a tough time right now," Reina replied. "Then, when I get strong, I'll join his family and we'll be the best!" You declared. Reina chuckled and kissed your forehead. Nearly causing you to faint.
So for the next week, you've been continuing your physical training, and visiting Yumi. She has yet to remember you. Still, you pressed on, hoping that she'll regain her memories.
Until Yumi disappeared, that caused your nine year old mind to break.

Bar Serena, Kamurocho
You were sitting at the bar, crying your eyes out. Reina is sitting next to you, hugging you tightly. Yumi was gone, but through those tears. A fire in your eyes ignited further. Ready to continue your acclamation of strength.
So, you continued to throw yourself into training for the next few years.
