I remember everything from last night. Right when I saw the queen dowager meet someone. They have talk about their incident two decades ago. What happen two decades ago? And why the queen dowager come out with a disguies anyway? Is there something hidden that I don't know in this palace?

And yes, that guy from last night. His eyes seems like the King. But he wasn't out there right? Am I hallucinating? Should I ask him later? Ah there's a lot playing in my mind right now.

My father seems close to the queen dowager as well since he keep follow the queen dowager suggestion. And why the queen dowager insisted for having a heir, even the King is fine. Besides, he even have a lover who will be his concubine later.

Ah talking about the concubine, aren't she will be entering the palace today? I should meet her then.

"Court lady, Choi!" I call.

"Yes your highness. Anything happen?" She asks.

"Pick the best outfit for me today, I'm greeting the concubine today." I tell.

She smiles "yes your highness, she will meet you as soon she arrive to bow a respect."

The maid start to doll me up beautifully. "Am I pretty? Okay?"

The court lady chuckle "you're beautiful like your personality your highness."

*TIME SKIPS*

The concubine arrive as she bow toward me "pleasure to meet you, your highness. I'm Lee Eun, a daughter of minister of taxation. I hope we get along."

I smile "you're cute. You must be younger than me. Let's get well too. Do you love the King?"

She surprises "yes your highness, the King and I have been in love for two years now. We used to be a childhood friend."

"I see, you must be his first love then. It's okay, you no need to worry. The King and I don't have those love kind or relationship." I tell.

She bows "if you said so, I hope I can believe you, your highness."

"Ah I need to go now, I have something to read and find." I tell and rush out.

On the way to library, I've been thinking about all the relation between what have happen between my father, queen dowager and the guy from last night.

"Yeon, find me anything like a king's note or story from two decades ago." I command.

I sit as Yeon and court lady, Choi fill my table with those related book. I start to read them one by one. The thing is King Jung and the queen was having their best life in this annotation. But why...the sudden death?

"You guys may leave me. I need this silent time." I command. I keep reading and find another book to read about our history.

"Ah I can't get it. Why the shelves so high aigoo?" I mumble alone and try to take the book.

Suddenly a pair of hands reach the upper book, I turn to my right to find the King staring at me while his hands reaching the book.

"Found you, where have you been?" He asks, wait his position right now really close to me like a few inch away from my face. I even can feel his breathe against my sideburns. After a few seconds, losing my mind in his staring eyes. He step down from the ladders.

"Catch me!" I say and throw my body toward him.

He startled "my queen, you should let me prepared first."

"Why you're here? I'm busy reading right now. Ah I've met your concubine, she's pretty. But of course I'm prettier." I tell.

He chuckles "I've met her too, she told me you're here."
