CHAPTER 14

KING JUNGKOOK

Suddenly she starts to stretch out while yawning, I pull her closer to me and stare at her "can we go to sleep now? I'm sleepy."

I smile and call the court lady to prepare out mattress. She's leaning her head back against me while her legs straighten out. I wrap her from behind to support her, as my hands slipped on her stomach.

"I can feel your tummy now my love." I whisper as she still leaning her back against me. She hummed while nodding. Slowly I lift her up to bring her onto our bed. I lay her down next to me and I move my body closer to cuddle her to sleep.

"Are you asleep?" I ask.

She opens her eyes "almost, why?"

"Are you happy that we found your father now?" I ask.

She looks up and whisper "mhm, thank you for searching my father. You help my family a lot. I owe you a lot too."

I chuckle "I'm glad you're happy now. You weren't stressed like before."

She hummed "my burden kinda lessen now. You! Don't forget about tomorrow okay?"

"What is it?" I ask.

She hits my chest slightly "our dragon festival. You promise to bring me there tomorrow night."

I chuckle "of course I remember."

She smiles "good then, let's sleep. Ah I'm tired, stop talking to me."

Then I caress her hair "can I kiss you?"

She shook her head "tomorrow I'll give you plenty. Now, sleep."

I touch her stomach once again, I can feel her stomach round up. I caress her stomach softly and she hold my hands.

"Stop it, my stomach wasn't that big yet. You'll tickle me. Ah you really! Why you're so clingy tonight?" She whines.

I laugh "I just feel happy and excited. Ah I love you so much my love." I peck her lips not once but multiple times. Ah is this what you called happiness?

"You really! Let me sleep. My baby want to sleep too." She whine again.

Ah I love to tease her "sorry. I love you so much. Let's sleep. But can you move closer here, there's space."

She mumbles "promise me you won't being playful, I will move closer."

"I promise. I promise. I promise." I tell and she slightly move closer to me. My eyes start to feel heavy as well, I wrap her body close to mine and slowly drifted to sleep.

*THE NEXT DAY*

I wake up to find my queen wasn't there anymore, I start to panic and rush out from my chamber "where's my queen?!" I yell.

Suddenly my queen walk through the hallway of our chamber "what is it? Why?"

"Where are you going without telling me? Ah you make me worry." I whine.

My queen chuckles "I just bring our painting outside to dry them. You're missing me that much already? What a clingy King you are."

"I don't know, since you're pregnant I feel so attached with you." I say as she chuckles and caress my hair.

*TIME SKIPS*

I've been attending my royal conference in issue of the politicians thar involved in the late-king treason. "I shall punish all of them starting tomorrow. The queen dowager herself will be dragged down first. So for those who want to runaway or threaten my family, there will be no hesitation to kill you."
